Looks like a good 'ol Linear 5002 modified by TIPS . . . sure put plenty of those in in my day. That's one of the reasons I'm still good at eliminating motor noise from installs - every Linear Power amp install had it . . .

As far as I know, it hasn't been modded, and it's living in my basement at the moment...I have a couple different boxes done I was going to use it on, but at this point I'd just like to sell the whole lot... [Big Grin] [Roll Eyes]

Well, I may as well join the party.
Although over time my system "changed", because some of my stuff ended up being sold, or replaced as spare parts for customers, and one friend.
The car 1985 Honda Accord 430000+Kms (269000Mi.)
I started off with an Alpine 7374, and 3541 with (can't remember the model 63--?) Alpine 3 way plate speakers(5/14- tweet+supertweet) which I took apart and custom fit in my doors(mounted the attenuators @ the front vents. I added 2 Alpine 6181's (8in sub) in a T-Line cabinet, which is lag bolted to the rear parcel shelf, and driven off an Alpine 3557 And firing into the rear windshield, totally sealed from the trunk.
I then added a 5959 with a 5953 controller.
My system now consists of an Alpine CD HU, front speakers are a schmorgasboard of equipment, Pioneer TSW164 for midbass(home-made Solen bandpass X/O), with Alpine 6051 for midrange up front, KEF X/O with Clarion Tweets. Amps and subs have not changed..yet.
I'm about to get a new (used) car and I'm dreading the day all this stuff will have to come out of the Honda.

Yeah, that would be old school. I had a Ulysses and Isis myself . . . back in the day . . . Sold the Ulysses to a friend that still has it wrapped up in the box like the day it was new.
