Flat window in a rubber gasket (NOT glued), that is the reason why it is staying in one piece...

Peter I'm not saying anything bad about you helping anyone at all. I just don't understand why everyone is all about hiding their setups. Hell I've done a build log from start to finish on my spl box right along with all the box specs. I compete in NSPL and there aren't as many competitors as Db Drag but the specs and pics of my setup are right here on the net for anyone to take. I am also the champion in my class this year and I have no fear of anyone stealing my design. If they do then they have to make it work for them like I have for myself. I don't see any harm in it, but I guess some people just don't like to share their info with others and that is fine.

Add 300hours of testing to his car, as I did it only this year, than you might can add 1db.
And the 450-500hours i did last year brings him the second one!

I tell you something about loud doors! Than maybe you understand where the hours went to....
Damp the doors -> test!
remove the damp and damp with other material -> test if its louder, if not try 3rd damping
Try 2mm outside and 2mm inside, hold the door while burping, hold the window while burping....and so on [Wink]

Woooow, 1 months later your doors are about 0,2 louder [Wink]

To quote Al Pacino in any given sunday:

"...So is football. Because in either game, life or football, the margin for error is so small -- I mean one-half a step too late, or too early, and you don’t quite make it. One-half second too slow, too fast, you don’t quite catch it.

The inches we need are everywhere around us.

They’re in every break of the game, every minute, every second.

On this team, we fight for that inch. On this team, we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch, because we know when we add up all those inches that’s gonna make the ****in' difference between winning and losing! Between livin' and dyin'! !" WOAH now... I need to clarify something here.

The box Murilo is using didn't come with my car.

My car came over just as a regular Panda. No sound deadening, no wire, not even a radio in it! I had to do *everything* myself!

The box Murilo is using came over in a Yuli's Marbella.

I used it for 1 show (last years world finals) and the only modification that were done to it was that the top plate was made to fit 2 x 10's instead of 2 x 12's.

When I was done with the box at WF's it went back home with Yuli and was then sold to Murilo when he bought the Bella.

This has never been *MY* box. I only had my hands on it for about 48 hours.

I think even TJ had it for longer than I did!! [Big Grin]

Is it me or did this topic go totaly sideways? I've seen more drama and what appears to me a bunch of childish bs than pictures.....

All though I think it's good people get copied, one gets louder than the other thus competition is created and the numbers and boxes get better and better! It's good for the sport. I'm yet to see a plain out other than 181 so far.

I give much respect to the European competitors, you guys have put in the work and your numbers show your hard work. I dont blame anyone for not posting pictures as it is understandable that you have to compete against people that use similiar vehicles to what you guys are using.

bro first off i would like to say nice set up.
see what i have a prob with is that we here lots of things over here from pepole over there i wont name names this is not me.

but what i will say is that i have herd of doors being modded and inner skins being cut off to put mat in and re welded back on and cleand up and repainted to look like nothing has happend.

also i know of guys that have re welded there roof bracing and added a few extra tacks.

also the guys with this sound dampining past doing the 4mm of it and then adding 4 mm of matt to it the past hardens like a rock so when the needel trick is done ya you get the black from the mat on the needle but the needle dont go into the sound dampning past due to it being hard as a rock.

also i know of guys that take and seal off there vents on there cars but yet i dont see any tests being done to show they are not sealed up

its **** like this that im talking about you all know who you are doing it and trust me i know as well. this type of stuff is the whole resion rules are put into play.

Thanks for the invite to come over and hang out and go to some shows maybe i will take ya up on this invite next yr.

I just dont like cheeters caus i know if i did this to my car ya im going to see some gains as well but this is a joke that there are pepole out there that are doing this and getting away with it all i have to say is.

your day will come and i hope you get labeld as a cheeter. lord knows if it was me i would be marked as one.

Thanks for posting the pic i like it and i hope you all under stand why im saying what im saying im not calling any one out but but they know who they are like i say one day they will get cought.

also team bemi tim and tim both was willing to help me out. christoph was nice enough to offer me very very nice chance to make it over there and hang out with all the guys and i was going to be able to work on some cars first hand. some of team cactus was even thinking about coming to the U.S. for a weekend to help build a crx. to bad i had way to many bumps come up in the road this year ive had a real hard time nothing went expected. but maybe next year i can still plan a trip just to check some stuff out. and who knows maybe we can all brain storm and get a crx loud. but for all the guys i talk to they seem to go out of their way to help me or give me ideas. i only know of a few on team cactus but all of them have been very nice and willing to help me out.

I don´t think its a gain, only a price question [Big Grin]
50mm² (0/1 gauge) car hifi wires costs in europe about 10€/m ~ 14$
Powerbars are alot cheaper and if you have good conection maybe free [Wink]
