What's your definition of "modifications"? If you mean sound deadening upgrading wire and bigger battery then yah the car has heavy modifications. lol It's all about how you apply and use these things that make the difference when it comes to making a car loud. Equipment and enclosure only go so far. Car itself has a lot to do with it. Anyone that has ever done spl competitively will tell you that.
But if you're implying removing metal then sound deadening and then welding it back on or filling whole gaps in the car with foam then the answer is no. All modifications on that rex are perfectly legal and allowed.

i dont see why people are so secretive about their setups. The north american loudest car just posted their enclosure aswell as pretty much every brazilian car has their enclosure posted in the other thread.
So whats the problem with the euros?

Only thing i noticed ,by watching alot of the euro finals was every car was a panda <and we all know that the panda is 3+ db louder ,depending on the class >but i do have a question ,i saw the SS 1-2 car burp a 169.9<not picking on that competitor> with no windshield issues or any other issue that i could see ...to me theres no way even @ 79 hzs for that car to hold that number ..i dont see a CRX holding that kind of number in any class ...Not trying to start anything ,just curious

Your cars over in Europe are so much different than ours here in the US, so why is it a bad idea for you to show the winning design? What you have in your car there I will bet all my money on will not work in our cars here. It's just like Justin Whitty said you can copy a box design but there are more gains in the car that will make you loud.
Now I'm sure that there are several competitors here that have tried the very simple woofer and port up designs that you guys use in your Pandas and they DO NOT work in our cars. Why are you so afraid about showing a design that there is no chance of any of us stealing from you? Paranoid much????? Maybe you are doing something that you don't want to get called out on? You don't see any of the US cars hiding anything loud or not cause it's the fun of the sport to show what you have after finals. Guess you aren't in it for the fun huh?

Okay Peter so what about the Street A car that got Dq'ed last year for adding deadening to the door after the car ran for qualifying? Tell me that's not cheating. You didn't see any of the cars from the US getting dq'ed for anything!
Point is that your loud because you have a little sh!t can of a car that helps you get loud. The same holds true for the people that have Crx's here in the US. Other cars can get loud too, but they are not the freaks of nature like the Panda, Marbella, and Crx. I agree with Jimmy that they all should be axed from competition use.
The funny thing is once a Marbella was brought to the US by Murilo he was within a db of the numbers that you guys are doing in the same class and he's only had the car for a very short period of time working on it this year. It's taken several Euro's how long to get their cars that loud and Murilo did it in a season? I guess the cat's out of the bag on how to make that car loud, just like it is with a Crx.

its not that we are afraid to show so "something fishy " could come out
other europeans can copy its more than once proven that u can copy a box by just seeiing it or have seen a pic off it ok it wont do the same score from the begining but after some work it can do the same score or more

Why did you help him then? I don't know who honestly helped Murilo with his car, all I know is that it got loud in a season. If he's had help then why would some of the people that want to be secretive about their cars be the first ones to help him?
I really don't care if anyone shows anything really. I just wanted to see what's been kicking our asses year in and year out is all. I have no intentions to steal anything from anyone and never will. I build and design my own enclosures and those who copy or steal should feel really good about themselves knowing that they had to rip someone off to get where they are.
