So do you think that box gained 1.1db over your box???
Or would it be possible there are gains somewhere else in the car?
Amp was in the standard location it would never fit in the tire well it's under the box.
What was silly about the whole situation is I've had 12,000 watts tested power in a CRX in Street C with 4 12's and the best I ever mustered up was a 156.4.... Street B Mike had 7000+ with 2 12's I saw him do a 156.1-4.... We worked on the same car as a team 2 years later with 2 10's and 5000 watts and beat both of our best scores...
So hopefully this changes the way people think about CRX's and what they are capable of. FYI the car was gaining .1 per 100 watts additional we could get to it . That's part of the reason it had a hard time repeating the 156.7 we saw in the pits... It was a vitctim of it's own efficiency.

It is nice to be able to connect the amplifier directly to the distribution block, nearly impossible in a CRX with surfboard sized amplifiers.

my amps are about 90cm long
I am sure this will also work in CRX, be creative
PS: This is also my 3rd distribution block install, took me also a while to figure out how it works best!

Sonofthor, I hate to doubt you, but it looks to me like you posted pics of your current battery and buss bar/ amp set up, but the box pic you posted looks a little out dated. The box design you show looks to be from 2005/2006, but if you made it work and did the numbers in your sig with that box congrats and great work

They are 12's. Batteries are in front which is why I run Rad X. However, it did not help as I do the same #'s with 12v batts in the spare tire well. My car has so much sheet metal damage in the rear and does not seem to hold pressure above 154db

Sheet Metal Dsmsgr? Like interior Braces unglued at factory areas? ,a CRX Has two skins inner and outer and are spot welded on seam location and along quarter panel is foam/glue together .
over the year with what we are doing to them they can come unglued , if the spot welded areas break loose them they have some stuff from fusor that can put it back together with ,is availible at local body shops or on line auto body supply shop to replace factory inner to outer skin applications.
