So I am coming to conclusion that nothing can go right. I was scheduled to go to Ft. wayne show, and lost my debit card in Cleveland and had no way of getting cash for show. I used lat 23 dollar for tolls back to wisconsin.
So on way back coming through chicago, truck developed a rubbing noise. sounded like a wheel rubbing on something. Pulled over and took quick look, and found nothing. So drove home. Next night started looking farther, pulled all wheels off to inspect for a buldge. Nothing. Found a rear shoe that had exploded, so this could be problem.
So Tuesday the truck then developed a grinding metal on metal on front right wheel. Started investigating and found a brake pad had fell out and was grinding on rotor. Had other things to do, so left this for wednesday.
So Wednesday, started fixing brake pad and rotor problem. That was done and now it was all was left was rubbing noise. So on to bad shoe. I went in and turned adjuster all the way down(dont need all 4 brakes) and put together. Rub noise still there, so now looking like wheel bearing. After more testing, drum was warped casing rubbing on ****ty shoes. So now my show is in the machine shops hands. I sent drums out and if they get them back and I can get truck reassembled I can still go.
As i stated, nothing can go right. Will post pics of problems later.

sounds like my luck.......at least it wasnt motor and you got home without a tow truck.....

I haven that same problem with my pt first the ball joints went bad then the bushings went bad i think its time to get a cheap car just for stereo but at 100 thousand miles i can't complain too much.

truck is rocking 225 thousand. The drum where brand new 3 months ago, shouldnt be much wear and at 83 dollars apeice, gets pricy.
Yeah john, I will come down with my girlfriend if my truck isnt fixed, so you will see me for sure, just maybe no truck.

u laugh, I have 2500 hundred that I invested in GM stock when they was cheap hoping for a turn around. So now not only is one of there cars F*ing me, but so is there stock, as its only worth 500 now....lol

First, got drums back, turned, sandblasted, and even painted. Put rear brakes all back together and they where fine.
Bad news, Front grinding noise still there. Started investigating even further, and when I started to pull out CV shaft noticed play in the hub assembly. The wheel bearing is shot....
I am trying to find one today and get it on so I can still come to chicago tonight. This is getting to be a pricey week.
