My dude D Lane from St Louis drove to that show. He called and sent me pics. He said that there was hundreds of cars. Said most people there was for USAC. Said that that there wasn't but a few db dragers there. I have noticed that there aren't any shows in that region for real. D Lane's been trying to get some pts for Finals but hes having to drive hundreds of miles just to go to a show. He said he went to the mall or something while they was doing other stuff. He did do port wars. Said that was fun. I don't think that they should mix the two orgs. Unless they just had both orgs have events at the same location but with two towers or sets of lanes. But hey they are trying. I give them that. What sucks is that less than ten db draggers and BRs came out. Thats the real issue. Are there any draggers in Missouri, Kansas, or Oklahoma?

The two years i attended this show its a great turnout and jerry and the boys do TREMENDOUS JOB putting this show on, NW audio is a class act shop that is for sure, i've know jerry for years when he used to be a customer at the shop i worked at and is a great guy. The problem that i'm seeing is one of the reasons why alot of people and myself don't compete anymore because you get so frustrated with the way things are run by the organizations. If you have a cut off time enforce it don't just let it go so you can just keep milking people for money. Also doesn't sound like there was a certified judge at this show, in my opinion this is a show that Wayne should be attending and running since there is no midest guy/gal. And it really does show a lack of respect to competitors to run dbdrag after usac is done even if there is only 2 competitors for drag. I was a big supporter of a joint finals but if this is how things are going to run at one of the biggest shows in the midwest then there might be trouble in tulsa.

Come on Wayne i know you are busy but get back out there.

I just think that there was some miscommunication among the people throwing the comp to the people actually running the comp to the competitiors. People weren't on the same page. I'd like to go to one of there shows though. Cuz a turnout for audio is a good one. I don't care what org it is. Its still about bass and systems and cars. If I would've attended like I HAD planned on then I would've did USAC too if it wasn't too exspensive. I hope that the next show will be smoother.
