2009 stats on the Termpro site don't show much for Street-B in 2009... what is a good score this year for Street-B ?
I see alot of action in A and C but not much in B this year on the stats section of the site. Only a 152.3 under certified SPL in North America for 2009 but 2008 has 10 scores above that

A good score for street b is a 155+ here in North America. Chances are if you aren't doing at least a 155 you won't place in the top 3.

It would sit until I was done with the Jeep, though.
Anyone used an AMC Pacer in Street ?

55 should be your first-box-first-burp score in a crx.

If I can do a 155 Jacob, I know you can do it!
You already have the subs to do it. Should be interesting once some of your new amps come out.

What ever you do make sure it's a hard top crx not a si with a moon roof. Hard tops are louder and have higher frequencies in general which is key to making them really loud.
But 155+ is a rex isn't that tough as long as you spend the time into sound deadening the crx right. With your power and your woofers and a good box you'll be 155+ in no time.

Do it Terry I want to see some big numbers!

Jeff,
I am trying to find out if the one I am looking at is a hard top or not... he has four pics and none of them show the roof. He doesn't mention it in the ad and for "non SPL" guys I'm sure that is a selling point. So I am hopeful!

Walt,
True... you are doing great in your cars. I'm sure I could get some pointers

Tinted,
Really - no difference with the sliding roof at all ?

dx and hf = no sunroof unless aftermarket, si = factory sliding sunroof, I believe the HF tunes the highest, but could be wrong also they are the best for gas mileage, get somewhere around 50-55. Mine is an SI and seemed to be the loudest at 57hz

For larger potential in spl it makes a huge difference if you have a higher frequency. And hard tops have higher frequency typically. Higher frequency allows for more port area which in turn can potentially be louder. Higher frequency also allows for smaller enclosures and again in turn more potential. And higher frequency allows for less movement on the woofer which means can potentially allow for more spl.
There are more pro's then cons with the higher frequency so even though you Si and our Si with the moon roof are able to put up some good numbers. And keep in mind that to do our numbers we need to have all kind of people on the car due to the lower frequency.
He doesn't have to get a hard top but I'm just saying it has more potential then a si with a moon roof due to the higher frequency.
