Wayne, I would not touch SS 1-2. Thats your largest SS class. If you absolutely have to combine classes why not SS 1-2, SS 3+?

Certainly its been mentioned a thousand times, but this seems to have the least effect on the largest amount of competitors.

Not to be devils advocate here, but aren't the ss1-2 pandas doing 168+ already?

I see no threat from vans that run more equipment.

Hell, streetmax pandas are doing 164+.

by reducing you will not gain competitors
why would it gain

the only reason i see and readed for the class reductions was that the event host have to buy to much trophy's and has some left after the show

in belgium there are tuning shows , there was 1 organisation who decided to get rid off the trophy's
many people said there events would die , guess what , they still do shows and still atract alot off people without trophy's , if people are doiing it for the trophy's they are doiing it for the wrong reason

in my opinion the certificates have more value , they have more information

they tell me where , when , what and placement ,even the score

why is it nessecarly to have full brackets

with more choice in classes to compete
more people will play

I agree. And, the scores in SS 3-4 and SS 5+ are VERY COMPETITIVE.

Peter, we are talking about Super Street. Don't you compete in Street C? I am interested in your perspective. Please post your recommendations here.

if we go SS1-3 and SS4+ this will allow the competitors in the SS3-4 to choose what class they would like to compete in. if you are competeing with an Astro Van you have no choice in class you have to go up. These vans can not be competitive in the 1-2 class but will be competitive in 1-3 with minimal changes to their overall design. In my opinion the SS1-2 guy will still beat the SS3 guy but it gives a option for the SS 3-4 competitor that they would not otherwise have.

wayne, you are right about the amount of cometitors in ss1-2 3-4 & 5+ but

the $$$$ or €€€€ that competitors spent in ss3-4 and 5+ is alot more than in 1-2 so it would affect more by reducing these classes

===>>> can you make a diagram of the amount of competitors that plays more than 5 or let say have more than 50 points or that are member

because a lot of people that compete for the first time are in street, but how many stay competing after there first 2 events?

i dont mind ss 1-3 but the amp limit will kill the class and the guys in 3-4 with 16 amps wouldnt drop down to this class ethier what would they do with the 16amps ? ss 1-2 is a fun class only rule should be limit the amps to 4 amps single case no double case amps and the class would cost less to compete in.
