The address on the db drag calendar is wrong and the map link can not find the location. Need some help please. I am driving over 400 miles to this event and do not want to be running around in circles trying to find the place. Thanks

Thanks Ryan. Much better with that address. Now I just need to see what time things will be run at the show as to whether I bring the Blazer or just bring my silverado to chase points with and spectate. There is probably a 2-3 hour difference in drive time between towing at 55-60 mph and cruising at 75-80

If you are coming through WV towing with the 1500, you will blow something once you get to Webster on route 19, trust me you don't want to take on the mountains with that much weight and not enough truck. Not to mention the Bluefield, Princeton, and Fancy Gap mountains. Right now all those mountain ranges have snow on them as well. Please DON'T try it.

Why would he take route 19? From Ohio you take I-77S the whole way. Once he gets out of Ohio he needs to be on 77 the rest of the way to NC. There's no need to get off 77 until you get into NC and then it's 52 and I-40E

Thanks everyone. I remember driving to Roanoke 3 years ago and there were lots of mountains to climb and descend. I wont be trying it but it would have been nice to. Looks like SVR is the first big one for me. I have made several trips towing with the Silverado and had no real issues to speak of...yet. See some of you in High Point this weekend.

We will be going the same way as we did going to roanoke except with a deviation towards the end. We will be coming out of Charleston WV on I-64 and then I believe I-77 most of the way from there. Just got new rear tires so hope the snow is ready for us. Should be leaving around 530am Sunday and arriving around noon. Who all will be attending the event?

You know I'll be there. When I go back to Ohio it only takes me almost 7 hours to drive 480 miles. Hopefully you have good weather the whole way and I'm sure that you'll make it in 7 or even a little less. Have a safe trip, and I'll see you guys there.

Good luck to you and Casey. I wish I could make this show but neither me or my car is anywhere near ready for a 3x event. I will try to catch all the action on DBTV if possible. Above all , have a safe trip. I know you will be pushing the time envelope a bit.

Thanks zach and Fred. Hope the drive down goes without a hitch and I can represent OKI region. On my way to one of my jobs now. I will only get 4 hours sleep between now and Monday night. I will have to go straight to work at 3am Monday morning from the drive back from NC. I will keep in touch while on the road this weekend like now while driving to work lol.

Be careful driving that far on little to no sleep. I came back to Ohio in September without sleeping for 3 days prior and didn't have that hard of a time thanks to Monster and all the curvy roads and mountains. Maybe you can take a page out of Jay's book and get some sleep at the show
Also I don't know where your going to be getting onto 77 in WV, but you'll need some money for the tolls while your on there. When we come back to Ohio we usually need $3.75 for the 3 tolls that we go through. It's $1.25 per toll and you should hit at least 2 of them if not 3. Just thought you might like to know that so you have the little bit of cash on hand. I usually don't carry any on me, just plastic. They may accept debit/credit cards I've just never tried to do it.

Thanks for the heads up Zach. I will need cash for the show anyways but a little more with the tolls. I figured I would need some extra since I map quested it and it said there were tolls. Getting 2 new pirelli tires on the front today since the snow here is making things quite slick. I got the back ones put on earlier in the week. Still need to get a sub and amp in the truck today.

No snow here in the NC. It's not cold enough to snow here right now so you'll be good driving in the area. We have only had a little bit of snow flurries one night here and it melted by morning. I don't think it'll snow here really until January or maybe even Feburary. It's very mild here compared to Ohio. I like the weather much better.
