I competed at 2 triples in Ontario this year and would've hit a third had I not run out of money. I had a good time at the shows and the turnout was good. I think Toronto would be a good location for a finals but I don't know what that would mean for US locations? Toronto is closer to me than Indianapolis and a hell of a lot cooler. I guess if money allows, I would travel to the location that I thought would have the most competitors, US or Canada.

Did you guys actually go anywhere in Indy, we went downtown saturday night and had a blast. Had dinner at the Hardrock and walked around for about two hours. It's easy to say someplace sucks when you don't leave the immediate area of the show and hotel.

Guess people don't know that Toronto is the 4th largest city in North America so they expect it to be some small-town Canadian crap hole..

Actually I have, but it was in March. I went to the last two Audio Thunders and for the first we stayed downtown. I never said Indy was better than Toronto just wondering if any of the people saying Indy sucked actually checked the city out.

Wayne was more than gracious enough to give the WEST coast 2 opportunities. I cant see the justification in another attempt out west.

Saying Indy sucks is kinda harsh...I think was being was that Toronto has sooo many different things to do. Tons of clubs, bars, canadian women want to DO an american, etc. Just more attractions plus vicinities to actually hold the event is probably 10-15 minutes drive to the heart of the downtown club district. Plus you have Yonge st which NEVER sleeps.

I like Canada and Toronto, but if there was a choice between Indy and Toronto, I would go to Indy. Can you imagine how long that would take us to get there?!?! My honest opinion is to have 1 finals location in the u.s.a , just like how it was.

I think it's harder for US to get into Canada. I know a LOT of people around this area are not allowed into Canada for what ever reason.
nahh, its not hard for usa people to get into canada its harder for usa people to get back into the states after going to canada, did that and its true,

the only time there is an issue crossing border whether it be Canadians going into the US or Americans going into Canada is when you have a record... thats the bottom line.
No ifs ands or buts...if you've got a recrd then you're going to have possible issues. This whole its tough to get into Canada or vice versa is B.S
Its only tough when and if a person has a record..bottom line.

I think the real solution is to have one location is the US and one location in Europe.
However Wayne seems to really want the multiple locations idea to work so I'd imagine he will try it for atleast one more year before giving up.
Certainly there would be a great turnout in Toronto I think, just based on the huge number of regular competitors there.
I dont really understand the point of it being difficult for Americans to cross the border when Canadians have to cross just the same to go to finals every other year. Someone is going to have to cross the border one way or another and I think after this year's strong showing by Canadians at finals that we probably do deserve our own venue if it stays multiple.
