2003 was my most expensive year in which I spent $20,000 just that year.

I'm sure that there are several people with way over 100K invested in the sport. Hell, there are probably even people that have spent that in a single year doing a major rebuild. Myself, I don't have any clue how much. If I had to guess I'd say in the $40-$50K range. I've been doing rebuild after rebuild for the past 10 years, not all for Db Drag but for car audio none the less. This year alone I've dropped $6K just on the 5 rebuilds that I've done. I didn't even figure in material with that. So probably about another $500 or so. Not to mention all the shows that I've attended and also gas to get there. This year alone I would say that I've probably spent between $8 and $9K on Db Drag shows, my rebuilds, equiptment, and gas to go to shows. Why the hell do we do this?

About $8000-$9000 spent Db drag related. That would include cost of the van and all repair cost as well as system, just not fuel used for daily driving.

Thats about what I have out of pocket. 3 diffrent brand of amps,3 diffrent sets of subs, 2 enclosers,3 diffrent sets of batterys and wire. 2 3x shows,2 2x shows and a crap load of 1x shows.

Realy not all that bad compared to some.

Is the question what somebody spent?
Invested? Got back? Just on dB Drag?
Or Car Audio in general? What numbers
do we take? Retail prices? Real payed prices?
Please specify.

MM [Razz]
(spent close to a million, if you just see
one side, and see car audio in general for me,
and compare it how others throw in their numbers)

PS.: André, poor guy, I EARNED money this year [Wink]
(And I am honestly dont believe these blank numbers,
but if you say so, then its your own fault... [Smile] )
