Steve, Sorry to see you move on from dB Drag. I think you should give Bass Race a try with something low tuned, daily drivable and loud as always.

After getting all of my equipment stolen from my car LAST NIGHT, I'm not sure if I'm going to try to replace it or not. That's a lot of money, and some jackass could just do it again.
No matter what, it's expensive.

don't want this to take over Steve's post, cuz he's a legend. but more info can be found in the "Next Show" post in this section. I'll be posting a new thread sometime later with a bit more info.
I'm debating with the insurance company. Getting info on how I can stick it to them.

Steve, I know where you are coming from Man. I have been out for a little while due to my health. I used to compete in SQ MANY years ago. I'll bet you'll have the LOUDEST SQ vehicle in the WORLD! You will be missed. You truly are WORLD CLASS my friend. [Smile]

....but you're right. Its just not worth it anymore to compete at the highest levels without major support and thats not happening anymore. [Frown]

This is not happing anymore your right what needs to happen is it needs to be televised at finals all around the world so that the sponsors would be more interested to sponsor there name and product to be seen on TV. and being televised around the world this way you wont have a 5-10 min wait in between heats. Wayne need to wake up and take it another steep further if this sport is going to be around or make a final`s location in each region this yr. to help with gas price and room cost`s this yr.

just my .02 cents

guys, he does this every year.

He'll talk about it then I'll talk him into competing again and he'll be back with another loud setup.

I'm trying to talk him into building a street vehicle or a 160+ bass racer

SQ is just as addicting as SPL--and there are cash shows out there right now for SQ.

Tulsa, OK Labor Day weekend--1st place---$4,000.00 [Embarrassed] CAN Nationals is going to pay around $2000 for first place in September. Scrapin the Coast paid $1500 or so for first place back in June.

That truck sounded incredible the last time I heard it. I've heard it is better now. Steve will do very well on this side of the lanes.

If it's true this time, it will suck to see you leave considering everything you've accomplished in this game...but good luck on your SQ pursuits, and I'm sure you'll have just as much success there as you did in dB Drag.
