are you guys serieous? whats next i'm getting tired of buying, selling, buying, selling, i just bought a new batt, now i have to sell it again, and its not even used. i just lost a lot of money on selling my multicell, and bought myself a NSB90, if i have to sell this one again, I loose money again, its getting ******* stupid you guys wanted to make street not so expensif, your making it more expensif then before (buy, sell, buy, sell,...) if its not automotive, you cant use it, so everybody has to buy a NSBG3100 in stead of a NSB90, wich is the same batt, but costs more money!!! this is getting out of hand!!!!!!! if this is the future of db-drag, i quit, and save myself a lot of money and bull****

While this new rules does suck for the Street Competitors who have been in this for a while, it's a good thing for the newer street competitors who can't afford to drop $1000+ on a battery just to stay competitive. With the cost of amps and multiple wires runs going up all the time, some of us can't afford to stay competitive with spending stupid amounts of money on a battery too. This rule will give some of the newer competitors a chance to get their scores closer to the louder guys.

sorry, but a nsb does not cost 1000$ ok no more multicell batts, i have made peace with that, but banning a 300$ batt is stupid! if you are not willing to spend 300$, you dont belong in this sport!!! then you better by a fishing-line, and go fishing

Simple solution guys. Just take the sticker off the nsb90. It's the same exact battery as last years G3100 with different removable top post. If someone wants to contest it it'll be close to impossible to do so.

OK, I have a battery that looks identical to a nsb90 which is a battery designed for "telecom" although it is badged for automotive use... can I use this battery? How will it be determined what application a battery was designed to be used in?

ive already had my bat that was made 4 car audio and made 4 my amps knocked out. that only set me back like almost 2grand and i was ok with that now my other bats r being called illegal. even the blue top that i have been driving on 4 3years now is called illegal cause it has 2 termals one top post and extra thread type.
i have 2 cn9000s, 3 nsb90s, and 3 optima blue top marine, with the new rules i have over 3 grand in bats not legal to run in a street class. that isnt even going in on the 8 amps i have that i cant use 2 try and win with cause i have to get bigger single amps to have a shot at winning

this is getting way outta hand, this battery is illegal, that battery is illegal, why not make everyone run with an exide group 34 500 cca battery and call it a day. What a bunch of stupidness. What are you trying to do by banning the cheapest battery's a competitor can buy? Up here a hawker 1750 costs 350 bucks, an nsb75 costs 150 bucks. You say you want to get the costs of street down, yet your forcing us to buy batteries that are 2x the price.

ok i will reply to this post good then go out and get the nsb-g3100 its a automotive battery it was a rv battery with new top posts.
This is a pic of a cs9000 and a nsb -3100 not the nsb-90 ya they were the same battery but were rebuilt for automotive/Rv/ Audio do to nsb could not warranty them as a telcom battery. So they made them a group31 battery for automotive use with postes. If you look at this pic it clearly says group 31 and you can see the 3/8`s posts.
Ok Know here is a pic of of the nsb-90 as you can see it says telacom on it and was not revised for automotive use.
Lets not get the batterys confused Wayne Thanks Thomas Inserra

looks like it is time for some of you to move up into a higher class then you can still use all those products (amps, batts) and still show us your high scores. I feel street is a good place to start but at some point you should move up into a more advanced class. I am only doing street because I have a family now and only one car to try and compete in and very limited funds and the old amp I have is still good to go and my sears die hard is not getting me into trouble and of course not going to give me huge amp per hour output but this is my daily ride so need a solid daily battery with good warranty as well. Sure if I ever get a second car I will jump back into SS and go for it with 16v system again. But for now try my best to have fun and go for the goals I know I can reach.

and hx400 is an example that u can also buy this battery labeled for automotive use. Batts are the same excepts label and price. Here in germany that battery labled for automotive use costs between 400 and 500 euros (thats about 700 dollars i think)
