I was just wondering I see a bunch of loud CRXs that have had body kits put on them...I wonder if the body kit makes them louder or makes no differance? I am looking at a CRX and it has a body kit and shaved handles and shaved front corners and the rear center light so I didn't know if this would kill the SPL or help or make no differance. I figure people may not know but I thought it was worth a try asking. Its a 1990 Si I think

Body kit= eye candy at the expense of score.
I don't know of anyone that has kept the same or higher score after adding a kit. Always an initial loss and requires retuning. Now if you start off with one it might be different just cause you don't know what # it USED to do.
Take this with a grain of salt....the hole I keep throwing my money down is in the form of a van....or at least used to be.

My CRX has a body kit , and i still hit a 151.1 with 2 12's .. I dont understand how it would affect your score when it has nothing to do with the cab

This is how it worked out for us, as soon as the body kit went on the number dropped, the car required retuning to get the number back, I belive it also depends on the kit, the wings west has door caps that attach to the lower half of the doors, i think thats what made the diffrence, but just my thoughts, i never pulled them off to see if the number came back, i just played with tuning to correct it, for the record, our tuning dropped
