I want to know what brands of subwoofers claim to handle 30k+ rms or peak power. I want to know exact model numbers and if possible pics of the drivers posted here! I am just dying to know what all subs make this list!

I dont really know that any of the big woofers that are out there give much of an RMS or peak rating. I know that back in the day, the Onyx Monster was rated at 40 or 50K peak (I think they got confused and added the K, when it should have just been 40-50w) [Big Grin]

I remember a subwoofer that was said to be able to take 16kWrms for several hours straight. it was some inefficient crappy 24" square subwoofer with four quadcoils on 4 motors, one big basket. i saw it on the same website as the "DB Queen" illegal amplifier, years ago. a bunch of junk really though.

All i remember was that i heard in sinsheim this year that Mikko put somewhere between 25 - 30 kw on his sub . Maybe he can tell here just how much it is .
DD dousnt claim that the 99Z can take 30kw , but it has, or almost , been done .
There isnt really a powerrating on the 99Z .

I've seen a T3 take roughly 27,000 before and be just fine...

Mikko use near 40kw total power to two 99z.

Ryan from Bordermotorsports is using 8 z2 amplifiers on two 99z hmmmmm I'd say between 35-40kw per sub.

That's cuz you don;t need power to be loud. You would probably do a 170+ with headunit power. [Smile]

i can do RMS 32000watts ,over 180s, and my woofer never burn or break, i have use same woofer for at list 3 months and we test real hard !I think woofer that can take 32000w and do 180s at same time ,is real good!!!at 180s coil ,spider, cone all the parts that move will be at extreme test!!! thats my opinion.team DD / team stetsom.

i think quadcoils need to be legal again. get 8 Hifonics xxv-maxximus, or whatever is strappable, amps on a single TSNS or DDz, with quadcoils.
I say flunk this 30kW crap, and lets find a way to get 75-90kWrms on a single sub. there's gotta be a 185 legal out of that.
