How much midrange is needed to be a "true groundpounder" ? lol A couple sets of components or what? This true groundpounder talk is a joke cause there is no such thing with everyones perception of it. Playing loud music is a groundpounder to me but everyone says an extreme car isn't a groundpounder. But most of the really loud cars/trucks are barely driveable and trailered in just like the extreme cars so ehh. There will be a few 160+ scores at sbn in bass race and a few of those vehicles will probably have rediculous midrange to go with the bass.

The season is young though, might be some new blood coming soon and I think they want to play with the big dogs. In any event, if the rumor is true, it should be a great battle between 2 awesome competitors.

I doubt Tommy cares. If someone gets louder than him, then they just get louder. He has been whipping everyone for years with a truck that was built what, over half a decade ago? No matter how loud someone else gets, they could never reach the status or popularity that HO PROBLEMS has acheived.
With that said I still can't wait to see and hear these vehicles you guys are talking about.

Well there arent that many big blue vans around so im sure everyone knows who it is. And he has never challenged Tommy, or said anything about "taking" his KOB title. Last i knew he just wanted to bassrace for fun and put up a good number.

I know we'll see a 160+ this year, I'd even say a 165 or so rather easy. I've did some testing and I know a SS1-2 car can do a low 160 and a SS5+ van can do 164's. Should be an interesting season!

I've got a true ground pounder for you! I say that not because of all the highs in it, but because that's the name of my van (The Ground Pounder). It's also what I use ( The Ground Pounder subs and amps from Crunch. I'll at SBN as well. It will be fun!!!
