Author Topic: RIP John W. Saxman....my grandpa

Today @ 6:30pm, my grandpa finally lost his life. He has been struggling with kidney problems and then again recently his heart. He had heart valves replaced years back and now they are not working too well. It got to the point that wed around 400pm we got a call to be there. We came back thursday (today) and he was not getting better. I sat in the ICU with him as I watched him slowly lose his fight with life.

I love him and miss him already. Just wanted everyone to know he was a great man and I am proud to have called him grandpa.

Thank you. He was a strong fighter. He fought through 2 open heart operations, dialysis for a few years, and years of health issues that were up and down.

Im glad I got to spend the time I did, but sad to see him go. He just could not fight any longer...
