can't remember where I saw it, but I saw a very nice captcha system the other day. It was a good multi-colored distorted captcha... BUT you didn't have to put in what numbers/letters were there. The numbers and symbols represented math problems. The result was what you put in the field. For instance, the captcha can contain "43+76=" and the correct code to enter would be 119.
A brilliant twist to an already innovative technology.

well it didn't take people too long to crack the older version with OCR software.. so I'm sure this one won't be too far behind either.
You're right though... nice implementation.
(although I can only think of 2-3 people on this site that would care... like you, me & Ber)

^^ as my old sig on another site used to say... there are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

LOL.....yanked out the binary....the geek is strong in this one!!
I like the logic behind captcha, but personally have a really had time with the technology myself. But, that's more due to image / sight issues on my end, not the technology.
Federal Agencies are starting to catch onto the technology as well. I like that math concept. Next it will be site the author of a certain quote or passage in a performance. Although, that could be a butt-load of text.
