I have an old pair of pa speakers that i bought pretty cheap. The components in them pretty much suck but the box isnt terrible. I want to swap out the components for better ones. The problem is, the box is ported and i dont know what it is tuned to. How would i go about figuring this out.

the box is roughly 18X13x30. There are 2 round ports in the front that are about 4inches around and 6 or so deep. these numbers are just rough, ill meause later to find out the exact ones. could someone tell me what formula to use to figure out what the box is tuned to.

I found some calculators online here: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp

...they really dont help becuase i dont know how to add the ports together. if i have 2 4" round by 6" deep ports, do i just assume its a 4" by 12" port, or do i find the volume and add them together?

id appreciate any help here

you could be ghetto and plug the port dims in a box prog and work backwards to find the tuning freq
