The Good Year shop quoted me $150 for each tire installed and comes with lifetime rotate & Balance, repair and road hazard insurance. These tires are rated at 80,000 miles so it'll be with my car for a long time. Is this a good deal and good tires? The guy told me those tires are great on his Grand Am, but I have a 2 ton fullsize sedan with a V8.

salesmen will tell you anything. One tried selling me summer only tires. long life tires have a trade-off of less grip with the harder compound used

This is what the tire looks like:

 -

Good Year Assurance Triple Tread Tire

It has pretty good consumer reviews, I just wonder how would this tire handle my caddy [Smile] I have 16" aluminum wheels and I think the tire size is 225/something/R16.

good looking tread, but like said above the better the tread wear the longer they last, but the less grip they will have.
