Yes...I do use several other internet forums, but I can't for the life of me find out how to give myself a custom avatar on here!

I've searched, and checked the stickies in the Test area...am I being extra-specially retarded?

Is there a minimum post limit, as I know I only hav a few?

Any help is much appreciated!

Too much effort! Already got 15k+ on TalkAudio...don't need to get consumed by another forum!

I just recently hit my 501 post - but I thought this option was available even before that.

Go to "My profile" and choose "Edit My Profile" and scroll about half way down. You should see a section for Avatars there and if you click on "Change Selected Avatar Image" a new window will pop up. It will have several pages of avatar images to choose from and at the bottom of that pop up window is a section for "Custom URL for Avatar" and you can supply a URL to any avatar image you have on the net for use.

Not sure about a minimum post thing but I sure thought that was avaialable for me since day 1.

Nope...checked there

I get the pop up with a list of (really quite terrible) images, a button for "Select This Avatar", "No Avatar" and "Cancel"...no URL option to be seem

No worries...I'll stay avatarless [Smile]

the 101 post limit is for you to be able to have your own avatar image, if I'm not mistaken...you can have the cruddy ones, but you have to wait for col stuff like mine [Wink]
