Were you wanting to do installation or sales?
99% of pay for installers depends on actual hands on experience and certification. Most shops pay installers a small hourly wage and then commission from your installs. Other stores are commission only and every great once in a while you will find one that offers a flat salary. (thats the best)
If you are wanting to do it strictly for the money, forget it! (unless you rank up there with Gary Biggs and Fishman). The best part about a career in mobile electronics is you get paid to play
Average installers make anywhere from 18k to 30k per year. Above average up to about 40k. Anymore than that, you would have to work for a REALLY good store or be an installation manager for a large chain store.
