The development team of Audio Express is looking for installers and installation apprentices.
Trainee positions are available for those with little or no shop experience. Earn money while you learn how to install, from basic to custom, all facets of installation are covered.

Apologies to all that have e-mailed concerning this ad, the positions have not been filled. Further information is being forwarded to those of you that have expressed an interest and should be arriving by weeks end.
I am out of the office and out of town for at least the next week, but I need to explain the positions that I am hiring for as I will be attempting to fill them as soon as I return to Phoenix next week.
The Design Team for Audio Express is hiring cabinet builders and display system fabricators and installers. The duties would include the construction and fabrication of audio display systems, sales counters, and store fixtures. Additional duties would include limited wiring and installation of computer systems and telecommunications equipment and in-store surveillance systems.
A background in woodworking or drafting is desired but not necessary, training will be provided. Some travel will be required and the ability to work with other members of the team is important.
While on the team you will be taught all the finer points of custom installation, such as working with plastics, fiberglass, paint, vinyl, and so on, as well as continual reinforcement of basic installation theories and techniques. Design Team members enjoy the luxury of a flexible schedule, weekends off, and training that can be used to further their knowledge and understanding of system design and installation.
We are looking for dedicated individuals that take pride in their work and are willing to go the extra mile where details are concerned. These particular positions are available in the Phoenix area only, however there is a constant need for installers in all of our locations across the country, in some cases training is provided but the availability of trainee positions is limited. There are actually four locations in the St. Louis area, if you are interested in a trainee position please send me an e-mail containing a resume or letter describing your intent and any experience that you have, I will forward it to the proper persons and get you headed in the right direction.

hate to bring up an older post, but do you have any stores in the northern Virginia area? If not, would you be willing to assist in finding a place to rent if we moved to another area? Do you have any shops in the NY/NJ/PA/DE area?
I am very interested. The compensation is a huge issue persay, I'm looking into my relocation options though and the experience is what I'm really after.
