i posted awhile ago and looking again. where i work is not a very good place to work at. i just started installing about 4 weeks ago and can already tell i am being taught very bad habits and incorrect way to do things. i am looking for a shop that i can learn and learn the right way. if anyone knows anywhere hiring or looking for an intern or anything like that just let me know. i do have tools and everything like that i just feel where i am isnt training me the way they should be.

I have to commend you bud, alot of guys would just keep working b/c its a job or not know any better. My hat is off to you for what you are trying to do.

Might try talking to Mike at Freeman's on Independence.
There aren't too many shops that I would recommend off of the top of my head. But, I will ask around for you...see what's up in the QC these days.

i am in the university area. i can travel anywhere in charlotte. never even heard of caraudio masters. and no i havent talked to Mike at freeman's.

At one time, AudioMasters was THE place in the area for highend custom work. I dunno what they are doing these days. They have a shop in Pineville, and at one time had one in Mathews...but the main shop is in Pineville off of South Blvd near the I-485 exit.

ok got ya. you have any ideas if freeman's is hiring? i know you work at the one in hickory so maybe you would know if they are.
