Installer needed that can hold their own. We have a very clean shop in Jacksonville, FL (Mandarin/Julington Creek area). Installer needs to be able to work on high end cars. Fiberglass/high end work is NOT a necessity but a plus if you have the skills.

If your first question is "how much does it pay?", you DON'T get hired at our shop.....and at many others... Fool.....it's so hard to find good help.

hey if you know the pay range it can save both groups time.... so i don't think it's that bad of a question.
just because they want to know what they pay is doesn't mean they are a bad worker either. money talks and that's how you get good workers to stay at your shop.

no doubt. in talking with one place years back, they gave me the impression they were offering decent scratch. i filled out the app and did a resume. went for the interview and i was the top pick for hire. they were giving me start date and pushing for me to come in a do some more paper work, acting like i accepted the job and everything. i had to interrupt them, "wait, wait,... what pay am i going to get". it was an insult at how low they paid. what a big waste of time to go that far and then tell them to go pound sand.
if you advertise good pay, sure the dirtbags are going to still apply. but you'll also draw the more talented people. interviews and tests will weed out the one's you don't want.
