I thought I'd pass along this e-mail that I received from our HR Department; I have an e-mail out to them in regard to the salary range. Assist users in identifying and correcting computer problems
Install and troubleshoot computer hardware and software
Refer new hardware and software requirements to the Help Desk Supervisor
Candidates must have:
Some college and/or specialized IT training
Knowledge of PC hardware architecture
Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 9X/NT)
Knowledge of office automation software such as Microsoft Office 97/2000
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to lift and move computer equipment of approximately 40 lbs. in weight, as well as being able to push a wheeled dolly with multiple computer systems loaded
The ability to bend, kneel, or crawl to get to cables under and behind furniture
The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship is required
