The official db drag competitions in Belgium gone start at 5 may!! Its gone be a BIG competion this year,some of the competitors are using now the MTX RFL and now DD is also in our country....!!Also DLS has there new SP series specially for spl...!! Im verry curious about the scores this year?? Its gone be a LOUD year in Belgium!! When i now some scores i post them here. Hi Stany, we plan to come to a belgium db drag . What is with "Mechelen" 16.6.2002 ? Big Show? We have D&W show in Bochum then, but maybe just friday and saturday, so we can come to Belgium at sunday. Ok?

What about the Euro Finals Stany? Any further forward with Belgiums bid to host them?
Some talk about mid October bieng a good time, are there any suitable shows in Belgium around that time?

TO OKI:wow is that a surprice that you will come to Belgium to compete!!idd the competition on 16/6 at Mechelen(the Nekkerhallen)is a big show,with a lot of cars,tuning,db drag,.... when i get some more info from it i send it to you.I shall be verry pleased to meet you over there!! If you r coming,is it with the new car??or the U 2. Im looking out to that day!! TO FIRESTARTER:i dont now much of it,the last time i talkt to Kris(the men who s organize the db drag competitions in Belgium)he was waiting for a answer from Tor??? Hi Stany, if I come, in all cases with the "Ü2" Because the new one will called "The Ü2K" Old one is "Ü2" classic with bandpass... And new one will be ready laaaaater...
But I cant promise you, maybe our db drag organisation made a mistake with the dates of db drag show in Bochum (D&W) I check it but u can send me infos to my mail account. I really want to come, just have to find out that no db drag in Germany at the same time...

Sorry Stany, I talked to Detlef today. Bochum is double pointer and saturday and sunday... But if you can tell me when the big shows are in Belgium, I may can make a plan when some of us can come.

Okay, same for me. If this event's on Saturday AND sunday, I'd be not in Belgium, too.

Hello guys, no answers yet about eurofinal,you got to ask it to Tor,the chairman for the euro finals,i dont getting any info about it?! I personal think that its gone be like every year,looooooooooooooong waithing and then 3-4 weeks before a message where and when its gone be. Somethimes i dont get it,there are now differend country s who s want to organise the euro final,and not 1 of them get a answer about it? If somebody can explain that to me! I personaly now that the db drag crew in Belgium is getting out of time now for organise a eurofinal,if they want to do it good!! But...
And OKI here you have some dates of some BIG shows in Belgium:
28/7/2002 - International Tuning weekend 4 04/8/2002 - Audiomix at Begijnendijk 01/9/2002 - Ice Mania 5 at Brugge(really good!!) and ofcourse later the Beneluxfinals......!!

And,Peter,yeah that should be great and international!!Do you have a idea?? For me personal is the numbers of competitions limited because my weekendjob,but if i now it,i can see.........! !
so far there were only national competitions, but if we will put some advertisement on net, there might be some international input and many people will come if it will be really big show.
I have talked with some people here and they are willing to come or at least participate for gas for competitors.
1st. Sept. looks interesting date to me. Not so hot anymore, without any big competition in Europe so far (except dB-drag in France)...
BTW it is 1300 km for me, but is it 1755 or 8000 Brugge ???

Hm, I have some news for you. Its getting more and more probable that the Euro finals will be in Berlin/Germany this year. At the Sinsheim Show some european rep´s meet together and talked alot. I personally dont appreciate that, I prefer Belgium and another date than same weekend as world finals...

Oki, that will be cleared out soon. But anyway, there was no european committee member in this meeting - no one even knew there was a meeting. You (germans) can not decide where and when eurofinals are held and one thing is for sure, when "you" (remember, I am not talking about you oki) decided you will have eurofinals in berlin at 1.-3. november... that is just BS, sorry.

I agree with YOU Jani... Ok I said european db drag reps, not reps of the european comittee... Detlef talked with Ted too, and the Benelux chairman, and the french(?) and Italian guys. I wasn´t there (another point what makes me angry) because I had a meeting too. I have the feeling that Detlef fears my knowledge and influence of other people, so it might be possible that I am looking just at my own interests regarding db drag things in the future...

I didn't know Eric (or someone else) from France was there. I think not. And Ted is a cool and experienced business man and helps out a lot with this stuff, but is not connected to dB Drag that much. I doubt his support for eurofinals at that date you talked about, if so it must of been misunderstanding.

To Peter: Its Brugge 8000,the other one i never heard of?? And i check t it ,you r right it is 1285 km,thats almost the same distance that we(belgium competiters)drived to Sweden last year,it is a trip,but if it is for db drag its always a lot of fun on the road!!example:all those nice looking girls in the gas stations that dont understand our language If you like to have some more info,mail me or Kris(kris vh) and for the international events,i like that idea,more advertisement,.... there s just one thing that might by a problem,i can promise a big show,a good show,but in Belgium i cant promise good weather!! Just kidding!!I gone talk to Kris about it,maybe we can working something out:1 competition in every country a year that can be international!! But is it possibel??Are there many competitors that seen it possibel to travel more then 1 time a year(eurofinal),it is always a lott of money for traveling.....
