I tried to give some direction for the psychos but those cars are a whole new thing outside Europe... They are not sold in Brazil as well.
agreed. but at the same time i think taking judges and bringing them to the opposite continent would be a good idea too.

At most they have probably seen a max of five pandas ever before this trip, and two of them were in street max. Unless it was pointed out by someone how would you expect them to know the intricacies of the stock interior of a panda? It is easy to judge them from afar but could you tell if similar things were done to a crx?

Panda or not, things like door handles, seat belts, carpet, and interior panels missing should have been seen. That one pic with a plate on the side there covering the holes up stands out. Also the amps on/in the seats?!? I'm really curious about that street C setup. Were they allowed to compete with the back seats down? That would put the equipment out of the cargo area.

It hink it would be better for all who complain, to get infos about all the versions what are sold around the world. Maybe (I dont know it) there are models without that holes or seatbelts like Hal said? Maybe complaints are right, maybe not, but please check all infos before!
I dont want to take party here, but maybe there were no modifications to that cars in the pictures. If there were modifications, no doubt, its not allowed.
We know there are US versions of CRX with 2 seats and the Euro Version has 4 seats and its not allowed to take them out.
So if the "Uruguay" version of a Panda comes without seat belts, well, go to Uruguay and get one Maybe its louder, maybe not without belts or some holes. Youll find out when you have one
Please be so kind and tell us then.
I am with the people and their arguments here when these are modifications, but what if not?
Dont blame judges for now knowing cars when they go to a foreign country. Sure, there is a "little" mistake in the system and we really should consider sending out judges across the world to different locations. What has been done, but not 100% accurate. We should learn this for the future.
For now its, of course, very bad for the people in countries where judges know the Pandas. (And "hate" them for understandable reasons).
But I think, if you use one, and take and use the advantages of a Panda, live with the hassles what come with them

most cars in USA before 1968 had no seatbelts. It wasn't a safety law before that

The Panda wasn't produced there, the ones that compete over there were brought from Uruguay.
