First of all we drive to Hamburg and did more then 7 hours about 400km. Road work for 71,5km. Crazy Germans. Then we came in the hall. It was nice but cold the weather was really bad. We packed out the stuff and did our first burp. 1db lost. A little disapointed. Somehow we had on 3 freq about the same score. That can't be good. We heat up the car a few times and that did a little bit. But not enough.
Further i was very suprised how many cars where not confirm the rulebook. Lucky Yanis was there and judged like the way it supposed to be. So many people have to correct little things. We where good except the backpanel of the trunk. Some panda's have them, some not. Yanis said it had to be on. So we put a panel from someone else on.
The street-B of our Dutch friends played well and they become champion. There SS3/4 car was a different story. Surrounds brakes all the time. Lot of reconing an repairing. unfortunally a magnet came on a finger from Raymond. The EHBO send him to the hospital. They put a lot of stigges in his finger and probbaly it will be okay.
Peter Augusteijnen had also little problems with the score but after some testing the score came back. Unfortunally he had the wrong cd in his headunit and a whole year of hard work was gone. Stupid rule about money. And the good cd was in the back of the car.
Cactus had a little problem in the beginning but later everything works fine. I have never seen a competition like that. 3times a tie. It was so tense. The tird round Christof played in protect and re run and in the last second the 165.7 came back on. The 4th run no protect so 0.1 louder.
Further we have seen some amazing scores.
It was a nice weekend and would thank everybody from team cactus and the rest wo helped us.
It was also nice to meet the Greek guy's. You guy's are real sportmans. Congrats on your scores.
The way back was even more whorse. The waterpump is probbaly damaged. We had only cold air inside. The waterhoses keep cold so there was no water flowing. never had it so cold for six hours. Well he can now go in a wintersleep and i gonna repair it for next year.
What a weekend.
