Yes this baby can do the job. If I can get a big enough trailer I am sure she can pull her. It also has air brakes on it. So that means big pulling baby... Would not have a prob to take 2 cars to a show.

This one is 2095kg. The Ford Exp. is around same weight. But can not pull that much, only 2500kg.

Air Brakes? I don't think so.

so you listened to my opinion 2 years ago stany drove a landcruiser to tow his extreme to sinsheim and it worked perfect maybe better than the pickup he is using normaly (but don't tell him I said that )
and don't think the car has air brakes but air suspension like a citroen

I think air brakes for the trailer not SUV. You know like the small trucks.

one problem chris is the trailer you are towing has to have air brakes not just the truck if it was me Id look into building a trailer with Hydraulic brakes you would be able to use parts off the old VW Rabbit the lawn and garden trailer Ive got is built that way no specialy conections to the truck but the tounge is setup a bit diffrently than most trailers its got a setup with a master cylander and has a shock inside so the trailer dosent slam you at a stop light not really sure where you can get the stuff tho Dad built it probably 15 years ago

Next time @ the next trip i put you in the Back Michel
Chevy vs LandCruiser :
for me the Chevy still blows away the Landcruiser at differend things for my Extreme trailing :
* cost in fuel is less , even when trailing , and even that the landcruiser is a Diesel .
* Chevy is a real Torque beast at low rpm's and without trailer nice Topspeed to at still decent rpm's
* parts are "cheap" compaired to Toyota parts if needed
* the "American" Feeling and sound
* i need to check to give 100% facts : but i am pretty sure the weight the LC may pull is less then the Chevy
What you may not forget Michel : i do trail the extreme with the Chevy allready for 5 years now all around Europe , And dont forget what we All did allready with it I do know at some trips i do or did save " the mecanics" a bit , but i know my car and know what to do to keep everything at the limits or under for looong future . I am pretty sure in 5-10 years i still trail the extreme with it , If i still compete
The LC was just a 1 time funtrip with it , so that it was : fun
1 advice i can give to Christophe - Cactus for the LC : its a verry strong mecanic , just keep it easy easy on rmp's and power when the motor is not hot yet , Only get it in "workmode" at complete hot temperature . I do know a couple of guys that got blown headgaskets with there LC because of that on the 3.0 L motor , even without trailing . And , our LC is also the 3.0 L motor
I am sure you will be happy with it , just keep my advice in mind .
And maybe Saaristo Bros can give more tips
Regards airbrakes : probably just a airpump to give pressure for a trailer with airbrakes , you dont need that really .

I got a Autogas ( LPG - GPL ) System in it , it eats about 18 liters when driving without trailer , with trailer and Extreme on it and driving true Europe ( hills and more flat pieces ) it get up to 25 Liters , what is still resonable with the autogas price
Like told , its cheaper then the LC 3.0L diesel when trailing , and in a way more fun , also seats are verry good for sleeping Michel can confirm this

hmmm... I saw a Trail Blazer today with a 5.7 V8. But I don't think I will like to pay that gas price. I know the LC will take max 14l D on Tow.
