Hey there, just want to "pre inform" you all that you may plan in advance. This event WILL happen! Dont care about Economy! And hopefully even bigger and better than ever! Lots of people from the countries around already plan to come to make it real international (maybe a temporary substitute for the possible missing of our ESB competition?).
Some companies consider a support for my event. What is great. I need quick decisions soon. Even a small portion helps. If there companies out there, please contact me on mail.
Even for companies from "foreign" countries it is maybe interesting. I got international attention already and I will "fly in" "Da George" (Trelo Lude here) from PASMAG and he may does a report in an upcoming issue about this next event. Maybe some companies take this possibility to be mentioned.
However, I TRY to cross the border of 300 competitors all in all in the provided formats like : dB Drag (3X) dB Cup (3X or 4x) Bass Race (3x) SQ Lite SPL Classics AYA Sound Quality (and whatever pops up also )
I will provide "bad ass" trophies to EVERYBODY who is attending. Even if its place 25... (in emergency I have to build some trophies afterwards) For dB Drag its planned 2 Meters high (pics from samples will follow) and going down with 3 columns to third place. From 4th to 8th, 2 columns, and to the very last place (for every competition format) it will be a small "recognition" Trophy. Same for dB Cup (but 10% smaller). Other formats will have nice, multiple column trophies also. All trophies will be designed and handbuilt by ME! Doug Stockton will produce the nice trophy labels again to make the prices more special.
This is my one and only goal for 2009. To make this event HAPPEN! No other personal goals in competition or scores or points, whatever.
Hopefully Johnnys BBQ will happen again also.
Please help that it will be another great success, not just for us, but for the whole scene so that everybody sees : YES WE CAN! (LOL). No matter what economics "dictate" us to do.
dB Drag/SPL/Car Audio CAN be fun and CAN be worth to be supported by the industrie.
I will write here as soon as I have some more news. Bc I have to wait for other big events around that date to avoid conflicts. But the 25th of July is the more possible date!
So, thats for now. I will put A LOT OF ENERGY into that, in the hope that it will succeed. Also I appreciate ANY help from EVERYBODY. If its money, helping hands for the weekend, or whatever!
I personally looking forward to this thing. It can be from Friday afternoon (setup and "Pre meeting") to Sunday afternoon ("After party/chill out"). A great weekend with great people and great atmosphere.

I look forward to this event for 2009. With the previous years success and having proven this is one of the must attend events in Europe I'm sure the turnout will be great and hope that many people and companies step up to help and participate next year.

Hi there, I can proudly announce that the first sponsor gave the 100% okay for supporting my event. It is HiFonics (Audio Design/Germany)and it allows me to reduce the entry fee from 60 Euro to 55 Euro. And the trophies grow a bit from their minimum (up to the size I announced). The more sponsors come, the bigger the trophies, the less the entry fee! That is a promise what I keep as you see!
Thumbs up and see what follows.
I keep you updated.

Another good day, another good news! ACR informed me that they take over the main sponsorship for my event (like 07 and 08). Well, that was planned, but not verified yet. Now it is 100% sure. This will make the event happen in ANY CASE! The other sponsors reduce costs for competitors and let the trophies grow I think its very respectable that htese hard calculating companies spent money for "us" competition loving people, even in this hard economic times. Lets support them also whenever its possible.

And another great news! Cactus Sound joined the pool of the Co-Sponsors today! He will take care of some special trophies and it will allow me to reduce the entry fees for dBDrag/Cup/Bass Race (all together) from 55 Euro to 50 Euro! I think that is great for everybody and you see I keep my promise to share the sponsors gifts!
There are still some more potential sponsors what think about helping out. Stay tuned!
