the german car plays at 58hz

i will be at around 75-76 hz
box is calculated , the guys who i get help from have a very similar box like the one i will have
they do 168 in SS3-4 with 28kw

i will have around 60kw

if u have a car that do 168.7 with 1 sub , how come we have never seen it
plenty off time to get points and a certified score
i guess its the same as with the SSNW with 1 sub and doiing 165+ [Roll Eyes]

That car is in the same place as the volvo that can do 182 dB 2 years ago with 1 sub.

In SS it has always been my experience that a box that large is bad for high SPL.
Too much leakage on the front cabin and air will not support sub movement so box rise will be very low, frequency will be very low, and subs may blow.

my opinion says that box volume should be about equal to what cabin volume is.

I could be wrong, but thats my thought.

all jokes aside alan thought he was doing a bandpass similar to steve cooks. when he came by today, and asked me what i thought. i told him it was a regular wall, and he understood why the floor wasn't lower.

about 182db ,no one has beat the 180.5db with single sub... 180dbZZZZZZZZZZZ with single sub is relly hard to do!

high point dezember 7 i will try to do 182db but the only one that knows what i gona do is GOD!!!see you in the lanes...

after the frame was welded in and the other 3 pieces it was time to cut

after the floor was out we decided to put in the front wall
its a tight fit and now we could still adjust it to fit , when the box is finished its very difficult to get it in
