That's interesting.

Our team uses round aero style ports.

Hmmm? I may have to send you a pm with some questions, if you don't mind.

in the crx the areo port has been proven at least 1 to 2 db louder than a slot. it is a proven fact. different car works different.

this is my pont of vieuw
-aeroport is fast loud but has a fast end
-slotport cost much very much time to know how to do but is in every case louder [Smile]

but if you never break the "standard" box build you never gonna reach the point we are at

i remember the days when we need to compete with small less power amps vs usa with big amps like the zapco 4kw at that point we need everything out of our install you had to be creative to go louder and louder that knowledge is our gap vs usa now since we have also big powerfull amps and i understand it is hard to say you guy's are better at the moment but maybe with some time and testing you guy's can beat us again and let us see we got competition instead of making lot's of BS here [Wink]

I would love to see some people in Europe build street crx's. I know that there is a guy in Sweden that is doing it, and I think that is awesome.

Keep in mind that U.S. competitors complain about Panda's in street class because we are not allowed to use them here in the U.S. for competition. I don't understand why we are not allowed to buy one and import it for competition, but that is the decision that the DBDRA has made and we must live with it.

So on that note, please build a few Crx's for street classes in Europe.

Thanks!

im pretty sure US guys could use a panda/bella if they got one. wheres the rule that says it cannot be done?

Slotports are not "way" louder than a "good" round port.
But you also have to adapt the surface of the round port to your specific application. With todays power, almost everytime you need more than one aeroport for enough surface, but multiple ports are FAR less efficient than one big one. So you have to fabricate your own big "aeroport". Look at Terry Brocks his topic, his single port was also a fair bit louder than his multiple port setup.

But ofcoarse, that was testing in my car [Smile]
