That was one week before David Alfaros accident. Right after the Disco A5 Event, or friend and competitor Peter Neunert was on his way home (70mph) in the night, and then a drunk driver shoot him from behind from the highway ! His car caught fure, he has hurtings in his face (broken cheek). He was able to get out of the car and distinguish the fire. Car is totally wrecked. He now has metal in his face. But he is well. Lets see when he can start to build a new car and when the insurance will pay, and how much.
I organized a benefitial event and we donated him the entry fees (200 Dollars).
The install is totally damaged but was done very accurat and safe. Fire just came up because the fuel tank was damaged and the wheels made sparkles when grinding on the road. No shortcut came up from the batteries.
They called me at 4:30 in the morning and told me that his car is burning on the highway. No Peter around. I thought he is dead now. Half an hour later another call that he is running around really angry and nervous. A good sign. He had much luck, not like David and his friend.
We are glad that we still have him ! So we should all look more about the security of the cars. I dont know what a bunch of wires without fuses, running under the car, can do at an accident, or if Boxes are not installed secure. They will crush your bodies !
Think about the safety folks !

cool, I am so glad that every thing is ok with Peter. He was the last person I spoke to before laven the show that night. He or the other guy with him asked me if I was driven home at this hr. ca 350km. and told him yes I am.

Damn , glad all went well . His car was right next to my car at Sinsheim , Ex 3-4 if i remember right ; i loved his subs and install . Some pictures of his install are in my Sinsheim pictures at www.ice4u.be Really done with passion .
