What sort of scores are people putting up with one sub in Europe. I know of 150.3 in SS or was it SSnw and I know of 162.x a while back with one RF18. Colin

I remember the 162.x dB There was a long debate about that over a year ago here on Termpro. That is the loudest one woofer car in Europe that I've heard of.

And if I compare result from Micra with SBN SS-NW class than it looks really cool for one sub. And I heard that Micra was built in one afternoon.

Hi Nathan, I am glad to see you here in ''Euro'' part.
Your SCORE is awesome, if + 3 dB theory would still work at 170 dB you would be definitely loudest in universe if you could just add another sub, and double power.
Can you give some hint (what to do) to ordinary people competing with only one sub?

Colin, I expect you to demolish our UK single sub record of 150.6db, I suppose it was SSNW, but with the power we were using (only 1200 watts) this could have been achieved using only one amp, so it could be done in S1-2 also.

Hi Geoff, just don't ask me how much power they put on that sub... (6 mono amps). Otherwise wait for CNNABS to come back (server problems) and than you can ask for yourself.

162.x was somewhere in 99 if I remember correctly (I can't find that since search is not working). It was a lot of debate about that, and some people didn't believe that. Now they don't care anymore because ea1 set new ''unofficial 1 sub record'' so high, and 162.x sounds believable.

I think the 162.x was very impressive, since it was done with a sealed box(if I remember correctly, maybe it was ported), not a wall with a huge port. But that's the past, and ea1 has done a very good number this year, he's louder with one sub than any Finn has been yet! Is there any swedes on this forum that know if that guy with the 162.x have competed since 99, and if so what spl he has got?

He was using a little sealed box and tuned his car at 80hz Tha car looked like a bathroom inside.
