European finals sucks. Everything but everything was wrong. Nice scores but te attidude of some competitors en judges where below all level.
On saterday it the times of judging where not treu, much to late! Then the qualify in a place of where there wasn't any place. And even with a hill to come in, very easy for thos guys with an extreme.
Then in the evening or at nicht going to another location very easy.
On sunday also, but thats holland, much to late for the finals and the time that competitors have to wait???? Juding in the lanes and make adjustemends. Thats normal DQ I geuss.
And half of the judges don't know the rulebook. Every judges was judging for his own rules in their own country. So then I ask myself, why is there a rulebook for.
Hopefull next year better but not like this.
To the judges, ask yourself with what your are doing in db-drag racing.

Yes judges where 100% ok . It was just a big organising mess . On saterday everybody was thrown at a parking lot . With qualification 100 - 200 meters away . There was no dbtv because they couldnt get an internet connection at that location . Pits where open from 11 am ??? They where only open after the qualification , which started to late .
Now we all know what a eurofinal never should look like .

it was my first final so i dont know what it should have been, but i know i had a good time and althought they could use a better timeclock , i think everthing worked out fine.. evyerbody got loud scores (9 world records), weather was fine (a bit of cold, but that's just the country) and the mood was positive.
indeed, in a few occasions people forgot some rules for instance : some people wanted to recharge in the lane but jay quickly reacted , no charging or DQ
everything is strickly done by the book (they even called wayne harris himself fridaynight about uncertainties to discus some things, like the hole in extreme window's)
and every judge had the rulebook with them
btw i think it's better to mail your reactions to the organisation then yelling here "it sucked"
if youre asking my opinion the event went good, but just the lack of a good time shedule (they were too many cars to judge/qualify) for the judges to handle on time.. but all problems were solved in time so i'm not complaning..
no offence intented.. just have a good time

The most of the "judges" have an "attitude" that really sucks!! Now we now that the "rules" are not the same for everybody.

Maybe European Finals must be inside and one place.
We have some problems with temperatures and wind..
But we have fun..
Special Thans to RAY. you keep the things going.
Also we really need to DEATHMATCH in Finals...
If what I heard is true...I would love to see the Volvo compete in Deathmatch. My back was hurting after pushing the Volvo up that slope...

@ yannis: of course you thank Ray from canada. Everything what is talked about rules was the same for both of you. The belgian judges and competitors where like idiots or what.
You dont change the rulebook, impossible but its all about INTERPRETATION, right?
One thing is sure, i ask myself how you and your college in canada judge? big question mark, you know.
Well this is the last time i'm participating the euro's. You can kiss my **** (you know what).
But if you have questions aubout some rules. Please come to the belgium Finals and you'll learn what db-drag stands for.
Please e-mail (tor@dbdragracing.no) me if you have any issues on the judges...
I'am sure the judges did the best out of things...Sometimes its hard to be a dB Drag Racing judge !!

I always seen Yannis as one of the best and most fair judges, he is probably very strict, but fair!
So let us know what happened so that Yannis is able to clear up WHY he decided like he did...
