Cool. Are there brands made in Europe that we don't have/use over here?Do you guys use US AMPS over there? It is interesting to see/hear what is going on over seas. How many competitors are there in DB Drag Racing Europe? Is it difficult to go across the boarders to other countries with these vehicles?Sorry for all the questions!

US Amps (company) is quite popular among dB-drag competitors. But there is a lot of other US brands. I think, that best competitors use US made goods. I have seen many competitors use European brands, but in my opinion they have lower result just because of bad installation. 1 kW is 1 kW Euro or US. (Am I right?).
Maybe here in Europe we don't have so many SPL products, but list of companies that make SQ products is just too big. I am sure that you know some of the best Euro companies that are hard to get in US, and there is also a lot of others that don't make to US. But you probably heard for: Dynaudio, Genesis, Audison, Focal, Brax...
How many competitors??? Very hard question. IMO less than in US, but if you think, that goods are more expensive, buying power is smaller, almost no sponsors... But we are growing each year, and more and more people are interested in dB-drag.
How hard is to get in other country: once you are in European union than there are no borders. But if you are from Eastern Europe (like me) there are some problems. But in general it is getting better. But all depends on country and from where you are.
And it is no problem if you ask questions. If we will know each other better, we will cooperate better. And beware of ''crazy'' people from north of Europe. They will go for some records!
Just for information: I can't see picture of your car in this forum. I have tried with Internet Explorer, and Netscape Navigator. Maybe is just my software??? But I know, if you put picture you think that people would like to see it.
I think, that better description for your car would be station wagon (with slightly raised roof).

I and our team members will be using Ground Zero (German), Rainbow and Mmats products. Two of the brands are European, and only one is from the US (can you guess which one? ). Of course, the Euro-GZ woofers (except Radioactive) are made in the US, and so are Rainbows SPL-Warriors subs..... So I don't know if any real SPL-woofers are made in Europe, yet...I know there is an Italian factory that will soon start to make some SPL woofers..... It seems Dr.Loudness is right about European companies focusing more on SQ than SPL, perhaps not so much on the woofers but amplifiers and speakers.

But more and more companies are trying to build SPL products. Even ones, that used to be strictly SQ. For instance DLS build 1kW D-monoblock, subs with huge surrounds...
And although there is a lot of real manufacturers in Europe there are still some that just put labels made in EU. But same is also with US. How many companies actually build speakers? I think only few, all others are just brands.
