What have people had sucess with in Bassrace, sealed, ported, or bandpass?
Just curious to hear what is working well to get loud. [Blob]

i have seen all of those designs in bass race, and i have seen them all work in bass race.

Ported 28hz 28cf currently but needs to shrink to about 20cf

well my best # is 155 and i have a sealed box. bigger #'s to come soon [Big Grin] [Big Grin] and yes it to will be sealed.

Step have you tried ported? Just wondering what the outcome of each box will be in bassrace application? Also how many subs and size?

I would assume the sealed box will play better, but is it going to keep up to a ported box?
I would think for a large # of subs like i plan on doing (12-12") a bandpass will be hard to make work.

Sealed here as well doing a 55.5 so far.Tunage to 33 hz

4th order bandpass tuned at 33hrtz 149 so far at 33hrtz on 2 memphis 2000ds and 3 batts on 16 power bass 12s.

Mine is ported tuned at 42 htz. right now I have one Atomic 5000.1 hooked up to 10 brutus 12's, will be doing 149.9 til I get more power and bigger subs
