This post is about SlipperyRock. I have to say that I'm new to this Bass Racing and DB drag racing and let me tell you I've learned alot since, Thanks too the Shocker Team. Sam has asked me to post something about the event that took place there. I entered the bass race for bucks event on Sunday July 10th. I ran the 130 to 139.9 class. I went head to head with the same guy who beat me out on Saturday and loll and behold I beat him. So I won $100.00 and a trophy. Its definitely all about your music. I have the perfect song that I use and I can't wait to try it again at Music Masters this weekend. Hope to see all of you their. Looking forward to having some fun this weekend.

bass race gives you a chance to really show off how well the manufactures product is built , iam finding that some product is only being built for burps, lets get back to old school and and play flash dance like in the mid 90's for spl ,or the killer track on bass mechanics track 14 and the now newly track 2 off of db jams 7......

Having a perfect song for Bass Race is key. I can tell ya first hand being the winner Saturday in 130 - 139.9 with a CD I have used for the past 2-3 bass races, and losing that CD Saturday night. Sunday I spent all day trying to find someone with it and ended up using another CD and got it close getting to that final round but breaking out at the last 5 seconds. Bass Race is alot of fun and ya never know what might happen in the end.

I know I can do high 140's but I keep it in the 130 to 139.9. That seems to be range that everyone else is playing. So it is very competitive. I use bass mechanic 5.0 cd track #8. It holds a great tune thats perfect for bass race. Good luck too you boommer you don't know what you are missing, but remember earplugs are required for this, unless you can take the power that you are running.
