If you take an actual song and just tune it a little here and there to your freq. no one will be able to tell you are cheating [Big Grin] so again is BS but I'm down with if that's the case.

Unless the song has NEVER been heard before by anyone at the show the tweaks may never be noticed but I think the judges will and have seen enough tweaks on the oscope to know better.

yeah but were still talking about people making a song custom to their install like alot of people use the young jeezy song cause of its consistancy, now do that to a 60 or 70hz tuned system and we are talking big numbers, so instead of tuning a system to a song or genre of music your tuning a song to your install

Then that will be a lil on the lazy side of things, instead of looking for a song to get to where you need make up one. Kinda sounds like the "Loud as Hell" cd to me.

i dont see why everyone has a problem with a tweaked song...

but no one seems to mind things like epicenters.

cause i hear mixed thoughts on epicenters and a few people that have them dont use them during their runs cause they lose a lil bit, great for demos but not so great on the mic, or so ive been told

I use a regular, unmodded, commercially available song and I am within 2 dB of my burp score so I dont think it matters if people want to mix their own songs. Its really not needed anyway, just find a good song and go practice.
