X2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that this year would be much different for the KOB since there are some vehicles that will give the 159.9 class some more excitement.

Hank, how you handle a 59.9 EVERY time you run, that's amazing.
Tommy, you'll always have your name, "King of Bass". From the way BigDave says, you have several more dB in your potential bassrace scores.
But hank, an era is over, and maybe you can just make a name for yourself now. Don't change your enclosure for 12+ years and we'll see where you're at.
Best of luck. I can't wait for them to make a 164.9 class for the big dogs to play in. work on that hank and you can be my hero [Big Grin]

lol i couldnt have is what i was saying.

but yah i understand an era is over but i would at least like to have competed against the truck just to see him actually have to control the volume knob instead of turn it up past what the other guy can do and just leave it.

either way i still consider him king of bass just wish i had my chance but o well. guess since this is my first year i gotta show everyone what i can do being a noobie haha.

either way im officially saying it. im takin the van to SBN

Wow someones head is really getting way to big...

Just an FYI, Tommy really has nothing to prove because guess what every single year people were suppose to beat him at finals and every time all they say was "too bad I could not show you what I can really do". Well everyone had their change for 4 years including all the Superstreet set up's that try to as well. And just like Justin said, there is no need to do a bigger number if you win.

Last year there was 3 vehicles that really play music, how many would they be this year?

nobody's head is getting too big. nobody but Bob has really been able to do a 59.9 INCLUDING urself pipo.

even if the vehicle that he went up against could do a 59.9 because it burps mid 60s doesnt mean the person controlling the headunit can.

im not getting a big head i just wanted my chance to go head to head with him since i have never had my chance because i have never competed till this year. i had started building my van before he announced his retirement but o well guess ill never get my chance.

like u said there really is no reason to do a bigger number if you win but it surely doesnt show how well u can control a volume knob when u just have to turn it up and let it go.

Bassrace is a challenge to myself not against the other person. my goal for this whole season is to do 59.9 everytime even qualifying runs because its what i want to do. and u will see at sbn how easy i make it look. not having a big head just know what the van does. From my expierience with my van ive had a late start while practicing where i started at a 135 (tommyK)watched. and i brought it up to a 59.9 at the last sec.

i just want more people to compete against because its no fun competing by urself all the time. so i was trying to get another person to go against that could do a 59.9 instead of a 158

Tommys truck IS Bassrace. No other car has ever won as much as he has, and its for a reason.

Other cars such as Frankie, Pipo, Neil Barber, Pro Truck, Eric Alexander, Jethro Eason, Big Oki, etc all are crazy loud.... Some of the loudest cars in the game. No matter how loud they are or any one is, they still dont have basically every Bassrace 59.9 championship.

Hank, your van does crazy numbers, and doing a perfect 159.9 is definately something to be proud of. Only a handful of vehicles on this planet can do that. But, I still wouldnt come on here saying "only reason he hasnt had any competition is because you havent been around". There are other guys around that Tommy has Bassraced in competition, whether WF or SBN that can do what your van can do, if not more, and he has came out on top every time. Some of the vehicles like Pro Truck Accessories, Bob Perillo, etc are basically straight up SS5+ rides that play music for 30 seconds.

All these SS5+ rides have gobs of power, boxes built for plain SPL, and Tommy wins with a sealed box that has been in that truck for years.

You are definately loud... Just dont get ahead of yourself, thats all.

Just a bit of a contradiction?
KOB has proven to everyone no need for him to un-do his retirement all because of you. [Freak]
I believe at finals last year he came up against some very stiff competition. I know Steve Mick broke out, and old man Crossfire Mike came out of the gates against the King with a 159.8 and then ran with a 159.9 for while before Tommy overcame him. Those are the two runs i remember most about last years 159.9 bassrace, besides me losing my window in qualifying. But Hank if you dont think there are other people worthy to compete against you best just take another year off and wait for the rest of us to catch up. [Laugh]
