well, my 10 year old daughter a few weeks ago asked me what i was gong to do with my car after i finished building my truck. then asked if SHE could use the car and compete this year
after trying towork out details and a class for her we finally decided which would be the best class for her to get the most experience and which would offer the best learning potential.
she's going to compete in bass race
and for dbdrag it'll be superstreet 5+
car probably wont be very loud in drag, as i'm goign to build FOR bass race.. but she should get a decent score, and be able to hang with the big boys.
she'll just need lots of testingto teach her how to control the volume.
some of you may have read about it in a dbdrag thread that received some negative comments. but oh well. and many of you in the ohio area alreayd know how active she has been this season.
she helps with my builds, helped run shows, and even helped push vehicles at finals.
anyway, figured i'd post this over here, since those of you that DO compete in bass race know that its more thna jsut pushing a button.
btw: for now, the system is looking like:
4 sets of autotek componets for the front doors. 2 autotek 2ch amps to power them. 8 autotek 10" subs 1 autotek mm4000.1 (possibly 2) 3 kinetik 1800's ohio generator alt panasonic head unit
since maxxsonics and autotek have been so great to us, everythign possible in the car will be autotek equipment. as for the subs, true they arent the greatest in the world, but, as we all know, its not the equipment, its what you do with the equipment. and since the car is my daily driver, i'll be able to better promote my sponsors equipment for them.
as soon as we start the build, i'll be sure to put a camp here, where it can beappreciated by fellow bass racers, and avoid the negative comments from others.

LOL you said nice porn. I thank this is great. My wife has been wanting to compete in strA for a couple of years but now I am trying to get her to do bass race. Keep us posted.

I wont be ashamed if i got beat by your daughter.I am also going to run bass race and super street 5 +.I have a open mind on who competes and if she has a better reaction time in bass race,you go girl.

he he it was you two that inspired me to go back to the old days and do the ground pounder when she said she wanted to compete
i like competing in dbdrag...
but i'm old school. my first system had 8 10's in the backseat of a brand am
so i'm looking forward to building the car as my daily driver and for her to compete.
think i may have to change the sub selection though, down to 4 12's.
still up in the air.
but, whatever is, she'll be competing with it.
