Hey guys i would like to know if anyone has scored over 150 or 150+db using a 9515dd sub?anyone?

maybe ou could tell us what amp because with 5000rms in a bad box ou can do 150, but with 2000 in a good box ou can also do 150

This box does 142,6db on TL meter on seat. I dont mind sealing off so that air does not enter the trunk and putting the sub on the back seat for the spl competition to try do a 150db.

i was given these specs by Alan Dante and wanted to know if the those spec would lead to the configuration looking like this

looks to me like your port is too small and its not positioned properly in the box.

With that setup, with the box facing in from the trunk the port should definately be on the front with the sub.. That design would have been better in a hatchback.

i have a 15" sub. and that what dante specs were for. i draw that box and wanted too know if that was wat it would look like after it was build

Your picture is not acording to this. You should have the port at a 90 degree angle to the sub. This means you have to place it on the side of the box, not to the back, behind the sub. And yes, this type of box (sub back, port to the side) can give pretty nice results.

onlky one problem if you dont build it right your going to be in the same situation your in now with a port that cant breathe and one whos airflow is trapped in the trunk
