This is very serious you can ask any psycho competitors if we help them it will be straight across the board we do and you will not be the first to get help from us for a trip to finals.

psychoacoustics will sponsor you with an undisclosed amount not to be shared or spoken of in public or competitors and a non disclosure agreement witnessed by a lawyer.

Please write up a proposal (3-4) page single spaced not including a cover page and an excel spreadsheet with budget in each of the requested areas printed in black ink that will include the following:

Full name of all parties requesting sponsorship.
Any and all parties that have currently given you any form of sponsorship (very important) i.e travel, equipment, building materials and entrance fees......

Total costs incured and expected including food lodging and otherwise.

How many parties will be traveling and to where. Contact info at hotel and on cellular phone at the event also before and after event and a contact person incase of emergency (mother supervisor at work...)

If you will be bringing the child what form of insurance do you have and are you all healthy well dressed and presentable as well as photogenic as there will be photographers and at this point you will be representing us.

What class you compete in and expected number that you will be doing in each class.

also all 3 forms of competition will be a requirement dB drag bass race and psychlone if Wayne will not offer it you must demonstrate it a to other competitors.,on video for future reference

Possible forms of advertisement for psychoacoustics: minimum of 3 not including a banner for other competitors at the event they all know who we are these should include television, print, radio or Internet and expected possible views before the show.

Why you need this sponsorship and why you deserve it over anyone else in dB drag racing do NOT include that you have competing for xx amount of years or that you have a nice car or a big heart and answer questions that has all been covered in this post. Be original this depends on it. possible examples could include references from new competitors or people in other orgs or not familiar to this sport that have grown from your input. or how you have helped make dB drag the premiere sport it is.

this will be offered to all competitors not just Neil sooooooo get working

wow i did not even see this but hey always next season i guess ,i will have to come to you guys shows next season ..

personally im glad to hear that he made it!! That is sportsmanship at its finest for sure.

In other threads there was alot of hating on folks that couldnt afford finals in their budget's "we are'nt hard core enough for the sport etc" NOT TRUE...sometimes we gotta put our family and bills first. These haters were some of whom replied harshly to this thread, coincidence?

I am truly amazed at the support "big or small" offered up by random fans of db drag, A little can mean alot for someone and im sure it meant alot for Mr. Barber!!

Psycoacoustics.....I applaud you for your effort's, maybe if you do this kinda thing next year you will hear from me or one of my team mates! I think for the start of 2010 season here in Ontario, I will discuss with Don and Mike from F.O spl about doing this for one lucky competitor to attend finals. $5 from every entry to every show + $5 from every application taken to go toward sponsoring the lucky competitor!!! It takes a little to become alot.

Promotions like this are enough incentive for competitors to work harder to achieve their goals in db drag and the general attitude is what will make new members and old one's step up to the plate.

THanks a ton for all the comments and comliments!!

Im finally back at work. I got a cal MOnday night on our way home athat Holli and the baby were going to the ER and turned out they had "swine flu". Ive been at home with them for the last 2 days. In case anyone is wondering that is a NASTY SIKCNESS!! If you think you may have it GO SEE A DOCTOR SOMEWHERE! DO NOT WAIT!

IM oing to take a little while and get all my thoughts out on paper to express my true gratitude for all the great people in this sport. Yes I throughly believe this is a sport and a lifestyle not just a hobby.

Afteral this time for me to be as excited as I currently am for this form of competition is remarkable! I am so pleased to be a member of dbdrag and have this format to share my vehice with others.

OMFG!!!!

Niel bro I put that vid together way before reading this post. Definately you appear to be a class act. I hope my team members at finals didn't rub you the wrong way if so my sincere apologies. I probably could of attended finals at a spectator capacity this year but, just couldn't see myself doing it. Now to read this and watch all the vidoes I am definately kicking myself for it. Glad to see you made it to and back from Finals man.
