im with you terry. we all used to help eachother. alot. i spent my friday night at finals helping team naptime and team fusion get louder and they were in our class. hell mike beat us in one round. these new people have to understand that we used to help one another but when it was time to get in the lane it was all about the compition. wanna talk about helping eachother? how about when team livewire erics van burnt down? gene alaxander and i busted our butts raising money behind erics back and makin calls and you would not beleive the people in this sport that donated. we all together were able to get eric another van and build material and equipment. i bet none of the new competitors would even think of doing that now. again neil is not asking for a handout. he is doing what it takes to make stuff happen.

Ok, first off all that earlier stuff is a bunch of poor sportsmanship and very childish talk on both the competitors/forum members and the young lady so please end it here.
This is very serious you can ask any psycho competitors if we help them it will be straight across the board we do and you will not be the first to get help from us for a trip to finals.
psychoacoustics will sponsor you with an undisclosed amount not to be shared or spoken of in public or competitors and a non disclosure agreement witnessed by a lawyer.
Please write up a proposal (3-4) page single spaced not including a cover page and an excel spreadsheet with budget in each of the requested areas printed in black ink that will include the following:
Full name of all parties requesting sponsorship. Any and all parties that have currently given you any form of sponsorship (very important) i.e travel, equipment, building materials and entrance fees......
Total costs incured and expected including food lodging and otherwise.
How many parties will be traveling and to where. Contact info at hotel and on cellular phone at the event also before and after event and a contact person incase of emergency (mother supervisor at work...)
If you will be bringing the child what form of insurance do you have and are you all healthy well dressed and presentable as well as photogenic as there will be photographers and at this point you will be representing us.
What class you compete in and expected number that you will be doing in each class.
also all 3 forms of competition will be a requirement dB drag bass race and psychlone if Wayne will not offer it you must demonstrate it a to other competitors.,on video for future reference
Possible forms of advertisement for psychoacoustics: minimum of 3 not including a banner for other competitors at the event they all know who we are these should include television, print, radio or Internet and expected possible views before the show.
Why you need this sponsorship and why you deserve it over anyone else in dB drag racing do NOT include that you have competing for xx amount of years or that you have a nice car or a big heart and answer questions that has all been covered in this post. Be original this depends on it. possible examples could include references from new competitors or people in other orgs or not familiar to this sport that have grown from your input. or how you have helped make dB drag the premiere sport it is.
this will be offered to all competitors not just Neil sooooooo get working

this punk is beggin for loot and i gotta chill out....f that ....im not startin with you Hank but come on, this is punk...is it not????
just have no reason to mention anyones family like that. i dont respect the whole aspect of lookin for funds to go to finals. but like john said i guess hes doin what it takes...... even though it should have been planned from the start to save up a penny at a time.
i just think there are differnt ways to go about askin for help and maybe different ways of wording it.
id love to go to finals but ive decided to just spectate meca finals with alot of the other db drag competitors not goin to tulsa. still supporting the sport one way or another.
i hope you do attend finals Hank...youve worked very hard and deserve to go...and just a reminder, she brought her kid into the conversation, not me
But you still felt the need to argue? And was basically throwing her kid into it instead of just dropping it?
Sometimes a little humility goes a long way

LOL I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE SOME OF YOU GET YOUR INFORMATION FROM. AS FOR NEIL IF YOU KNOW HIM YES IN THE LANES AT A SHOW HE CAN COME OF A LIL INTENSE OR STAND OF ISH BUT "HE IS PREPARING HIM SELF FOR HIS RUN" CATCH HIM OUT OF THE LANE AND THE MAN WILL LET YOU PICK HIS BRAIN BARE, NOW I READ THAT SOME ONE SAID THIS IS A HOBBY NOT A SPORT? WTF, IF A NATIONALLY ACCREDIT MAGAZINE CHOSE TO SEND A REPORTER ACROSS THE UNITED STATES TO COVER THE SPORT THEN WHY WOULD YOU SAY ITS A HOBBY? MAYBE TO YOU IT IS AND MAYBE THAT'S WHY YOUR CRYING YOU DON'T HAVE A SPONSORSHIP OR YOUR NOT INVITED AT ALL. I LIVE A STATE AWAY FROM NEIL BUT HAVE SEEN HIM IN MAY SHOWS IN MY STATE HE CAMPAIGNS HIS BLAZER ON A REGULAR BASIS. DESPITE THE HARD ECONOMIC TIMES HAVING A SHOP TO RUN AND A FAMILY TO SUPPORT. AND HAS DONE THIS FOR OVER A DECADE. TO SAY HE IS SPONSORED AND DOESN'T DESERVE IT OR HELP WHEN HE IS ASKING FOR IT IS A CRIME. DOES ANY ONE EVEN KNOW WHAT EXTENT OF SPONSORSHIP HE EVEN GOT? LOL I GOT MY 20 BATTERY'S ON A SPONSORSHIP BUT STILL DOESN'T MEAN THAT I HAVE A EXTRA 2 GRAND LAYING AROUND SO I CAN CLOSE MY DOORS TO THE PUBLIC FOR A WEEK AND DRIVE/TRAILER MY TRUCK HALF AWAY ACROSS THE USA TO GO TO A SHOW AT LAST MIN THAT A WHOLE YEAR I HAD NOT PLANED ON GOING TO. I DID THIS SPORT IN THE 80'S AND EARLY 90'S AND LEFT BECAUSE THE FRIENDSHIP AND THE FUN OF THE SPORT WAS OVER SHADOWED BY PEOPLE THAT JUST SAW IT AS A JOKE OR A GAME AND THE BACKSTABBING TOOK THE FUN OUT OF IT IN 2007 I MEET A GREAT GUY AND A GREAT TEAM THAT SHOWED ME THERE WAS FUN AND FRIENDSHIP BACK IN THE SPORT AND HAVE MADE SEVERAL GREAT FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES FROM IT SINCE THEN. AND I WOULD CALL NEIL ONE OF THEM. DON'T JUDGE PEOPLE SO FAST OR ASSUME YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.

I gave what I could because Ive met him quite a few times at SBN and Florida State Finals. Hes always been really nice to me, and with all the work he has put in, he deserves to get a shot at the 59 title.
All the people being douchebags, just look at what you're saying. He isnt begging for handouts, he is asking FRIENDS and people he has shared the lanes with for over a decade to help out and get him to WF. If you dont know him or dont want to help, just move on.

WOW, What A response, This is the reason why most of us left in 05 ,bunch of whinners, complianers, and if want to here whinning i just here at home ,with wife and dogs do enough of that and then the moments on here, it even worst, i say go for it neil , never ask what other people think . i agree with terry there use to alot of great sportsmanship in here, now it all gone away with those who have arrived after 05 season .There are few guys i still speak to and if in needhelp ,or i lend a hand when needed and other do the same with me when they can . but i never ever though with todays breed of competitors they all look for a hand out ,not all are this way but there are few who are . my 1/2(depression) cents.

wow is all i have to say i wish i could help him out and im with you two on this.
It sucks what is this sport comming to know a days. I wish i could have went. Some times you have to roll with the punches. im not going in sted im helping out a felow Team Mate go.
This sport used to be full of people like us back in the day just cause a guy askes for help ya have to bash him for doing so wow.
It shows how much you really support your felow competors. maybe if you were not stuck on your self you to could find it in your heart to know what hes going threw just to ask for the support. it takes balls to come on here and ask and i respect him for doing so.
neill good luck and i hope things work for ya bro. its not easy to do what some of us do i hope ya get the support your looking for.
wish i could help ya out but were in the same spot you are. Good Luck From Team Xtreme Loud Audio.

I totally agree and also some of these newer guys who think just cause they went "big" for a year or two somehow feel they have a right to jump on the real people who made this sport. If the newer crowd would spend half the time working on their vehicles as they do running their mouths then maybe the scores in the US wouldnt be going down.
