up to a 149.8 at 46 and 47hz now. added 2x4's on each side of the port. i somehow lost the pic of the termlab but o well still havent broke a 50. that was with my buddy sittin in the back as well
needless to say its not a big fan of 30hz. kicks the amp into protect. but i dont listen to much if any music that actually drops that low that i play full tilt neways.

3 cubes per 18. i shrank the port by 1 more 2x4 and gained. i added 2 2x4's and lost but played lower better and louder but it plays just fine for my liking with 1 2x4 added. sorry i dont have pics.
im not in the mood to tear out the wall above the sealed chamber to make it larger so im gonna keep tryin these port mods which are working right now so far. the subs are screaming for more power though. barely moving.
all the more reason to rip out the dead space above the wall to make the box more efficient. Thats no small space either, thats a lot of volume to give the enclosure with that opened up and Im sure it will make a huge difference in efficiency. Not only that but itll allow you to keep that big port and still drop low..without having to shrink it more and more like ur doing.
You're going to end up doing it eventually if you want to get this setup working to its full potential so you might aswell do it now so that all your time spend port tuning doesnt get thrown out the window when you unblock that space in the future.
Build it right the first time in a methodical manner and save yourself a ton of time and work.

Yeah the numbers you want will never be there with that small of a ported chamber with that big of a sealed chamber.
But almost a 150 at the dash from the rear window of a truck isn't bad at all.
If you ever tear out the space above the sealed boxes then I'd try firing the subs backwards. It will lower your note a lot also

yah if/when i tear this out im welding a steel cage and doin alot of subs so thats a big reason why i didnt want to tear the back wall out and try it haha. but im happy to almost break a 50 with just an mm4000.1 with my voltage being best at 13.6v because this slow turning engine haha.

Setup looks great!! Did you do any testing when the sealed enclosure wasn't totally sealed? We've built some 4th orders with an IB setup. Basically a wall just like yours with an open sealed chamber. they have all had a really strong peak at tuning and the strongest lowend of any enclosure I've built(ported, 4th, 6th, 7th orders...... Sub 30hz is insane. Just curious.

no i didnt try anything haha i just built it and now im just tweaking. im pretty stoked with the outcome so far because im not getting much power out of that amp im sure since my stock voltage is so low. ill be upgrading power in the future but the goal now is to get it as loud as possible with just the mm4000.1 on it.
i dont know anything about a 4th order i just built it and started tweaking here and there. still have tons of work so i hope to do a 151+ when its all said and done off the single mm4000.1

thats great! they get loud and sound really good doing it. I used to get my balls busted for running them years ago and now they have taken over...lol!!
Good luck
