yah 52-53hz... was on bass mekanik - bass mekanik. its BRUTAL but too high for me. was doin a 157 in the box before i gained 2 db by fixing my rca's. so i need to get that pressure from in there to outside. im not really goin for numbers so im just gonna seal it off from the back since its still open and then shrink/lengthen the port as needed to get my tuning hopefully that will help my number since its pretty high. i wanna peak around 10hz lower if possible.

x3

Look at Cooks van [Smile] Its like that for a reason.

When we first built it with the 5 15s we tried bringing the wall out flush and lost a TON, like 3 or 4db at reference volume so I'm sure it was more at higher SPL

small update. its gettin louder lower but peaking higher but still louder. i was peaking at 53hz doin a 148.7 on bass mekanik-bass mekanik. but now im peakin at 148.8 at 55hz while playin Kia Shine - Crispy.

while ive gained 2 db while playin Lil Jon - Push that from a 145.5 to 147.7 so im gettin louder lower so the range is getting better.

im not in the mood to tear out the wall above the sealed chamber to make it larger so im gonna keep tryin these port mods which are working right now so far. the subs are screaming for more power though. barely moving.

still have to completely seal it from the back.

Wouldn't the subs be louder if they where above the seats firing right into the cabin?
