Dash kits for Ford trucks work better when the pocket is on top. The weight of the radio will on top will make it push out.

ur gunna want a boatload of deadener in there...i have an 02 f350 with the exact same interior and crewcab just like yours...i had a box for 4 9912s that was 10 cubes tuned to 30 hz with 250 sq inches of port in place of the rear seat and with a single 500.1 it flexed the whole truck abosutely ridiculously.

Was horrible for SPL too unfortunately but sounded great.

Im jealous that you have the dual alts stock..I just have dual batts stock

well the dash kit fit perfect thats y i didnt look at the instructions. even if its upside down i prefer the pocket on bottom. i just think the kit is ugly cuz its curved and not flat. but i can get over it.

ill be gone for 2 weeks in nebraska for WLC so i wont be workin on the truck *sigh*
