Thanks Don. Tomorrow, I will test for the proper sealed enclosure size then build the permanent back wall. Hopefully I'll be able to get down to the real testing on Wed. Murilo, I really wish I had 4 of the 8ks. Maybe I'll work towards that goal in the off season.

I usually fund my systems from the crap and blackjack tables. So far this year, I've been to the casino twice which is excellent for me. Please SounDigital, don't make me start gambling again, lol.

I build my 4 order bp in a street app in 3 weeks. Its work yes. Think of it this way I had to figger out box vol to cabin vol. To where i had to build my box in a street app to where box vol changes cabin vol. and in the cargo area to boot and not at the b piller in a wall set up where there would be only box vol seen how you cabin vol would be what it is b piller foward a only three things to figger out fs ported chamber vol and sealed chamber vol. Tuning is tuning sealed box bigger the box vol lower the fs smaller the box higher the fs.
ported is ported its just finding the proper vol between the two to adjust the rise of the box and lots of testing for placement of the sealed chamber but its like this as well in a street app everything needs to be put in its proper place and by testing like ya do weather its a street ported box or a street band pass or A sealed box or to a band pass wall ya test test test but if ya have common sense on how it works its all down hill from there.
With proper prep work and lots of thought that can be sick and get real loud. i miss my explorer and my street b band pass it would make for a sweet 149.9 bassracer. Good luck nate should talk to Creag Butler or Hal There are quite a few good builders in this fourm that would love to share advice. This is how we all grow. Good luck hope to see ya at the dbdrag show in sept gona be a good one.

I haven't given up yet as I am still optimistic.I love the way it sounds now that I've increased the sealed box. It plays so very low and violent, just got to get a couple more dbs out of it. Thanks for the pep talk TJ, lol. I demo-ed at a local car show the other day and the people were affraid to stick their heads in. I know to us, it means nothing but I found it very amusing.

Finally did a clamp test. My voltage drops to 11.6, my impedance rise goes from 2.8 to 5.1. Before the new sealed enclosure, it rose to 20 ohm, lol. Therefore, my amp is producing 5,710 watts at 11.6 volts and I'm doing a 53 on the dash. Taking into consideration that I haven't seriously played with the front of the vehicle, i.e. deadning, dashboard, etc. Also, by working on the inside of the enclosures, I think I could possibly find another db. So having said this, I need to ask, How many vans are outthere running on limited power and what numbers are you doing?
