Justin I think the other probe is the tuning of the sead boxes I think that the wall is not big enough for 4 18 `s that the sealed box vol. in the walled part the vol. of the sealed is to much. He needs to try every option I know the sealed boxes are to small. I bet the sealed boxes with 15s will wange. I just think that 2 18 `s with the proper vol. is going to work way better if he had a 4 12s I think it would work better then the 4 18 `s I also think that the cone flex under pressure in that wall is to much as well and with a 12 there will be less stress on the outer cone.
He need to talk to Mike Bartells on how he did his sealed box he used two 15 `s in a moveable sealed box if I remember right. I think I still have PICS of the build that he sent me at one time just have to find them and get the OK to post them.

any updates , nice build, i do say your loading only needs to be around 4 inches thick, with pvc on the end and i have had good luck making the open in to cabin 1/2 of the width including the 4 inch pvc pipe half.
how many amps are running ? all sealed boxes are seperate?

TJ, I spoke to Mike last week and his sealed enclosue was exactly the same, lol. I guess the smallest enclosures work better in extreme builds. Audiobuffru1, I am using one amp and all 4 boxes are separate. Did some testing and gained about a db and a half from moving the boxes up about 18". The frequency is now 64! Today was a very positive day though. As Justin and the others have stated, I have to enlarge my sealed enclosures. The baffle will removed and built over. Because the seats don't fold or slid forward too much, I am leaning towards a center port. I would like to be somewhere between 38-42 hz. Gentlemen, I really appreciate all the advice and please, keep them coming.

Question for all the folks helping me. By increasing the volume in my sealed boxes, I know it will help bring the frequency down but could it also help in bringing the numbers up? Comments please.

No program friend, just kinda winging it. Actually the build last year, the sealed chamber was 10^3 and the ported was 30^3. This build is louder with less power.

If it helps ya at all for some reason when I built mine I must have missed a step some where along the way. I have 12's in 2 cubes each. From 1 cube to 2 cubes was over a 2Db gain. It sounds realy funny but I'm louder with my seats in driver side slid foward all the wat and I have a driver side port. Tell me where the justice is in that.
I know mines realy messed up some where but I was able to make it work. You might have a problem like I do. Just try stupid things that in your head you know they shouldn't work......I gained 6Db from these things that I knew shouldn't help and others have failed trying. I guess each build truly is 1 of a kind.

Pete, I'm hoping that I have the same situation, lol. By increasing the sealed box volume, hopefully, I will gain a few. I greatly appreciate your help.

Made a temporary back wall that can slide in and out. Hopefully, this will help me find the best internal volume for the sealed enclosure.

Looking good Bernie! Let me know what it hits now. You got a good 158+ in there somewhere with the door open in your format. be sure to tune with vehicle in the exact configuration as the competition. Your making me want a BP in my own ride. lol
